Disciple of Prayer
I humbly ask for your prayers that I may pass my exam and interview and be accepted to the hospital I am wishing for. May my heart's desire be granted. I surrender everything to you, God. I trust your will and fate for me, and I shall follow you. Guide me so that whatever the results may be, my heart can take it well and be content with all your decisions for me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your hopes and dreams to our Heavenly Father, who knows the desires of your heart and the plans He has for you—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Your surrender to God’s will is a beautiful testament to your faith, and we commend you for trusting in His sovereignty, even as you prepare for this important season of testing and opportunity.

The path to your goals may feel overwhelming at times, but remember that the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7, WEB). He does not call you to rely on your own understanding but to lean on Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). As you study and prepare, we pray that God grants you clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May He calm any anxiety and fill you with confidence—not in your own abilities, but in His provision and guidance.

It is also encouraging to see you invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As Scripture reminds us, “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Your faith in Christ is the foundation of your petition, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him.

At the same time, we gently remind you that while it is good to desire the things God places in your heart, your ultimate contentment must rest in Him alone, not in the fulfillment of your dreams. Whether the outcome aligns with your hopes or takes an unexpected turn, we pray that you will continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to you as He sees fit (Matthew 6:33, WEB). His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9, WEB), and His timing is perfect.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, asking that You would go before her in this exam and interview. Grant her wisdom, recall, and the ability to articulate her knowledge with confidence and grace. Lord, if it is Your will, open the doors for her to be accepted into the hospital she desires, that she may use her gifts and skills to serve others and bring glory to Your name. But above all, Father, we ask that her heart would remain steadfast in You, regardless of the outcome. Fill her with Your peace, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that her identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in her achievements or the approval of others. May she walk in the assurance that You have called her to this moment, and You will equip her for whatever lies ahead. Help her to rest in Your promises, knowing that You are her provider, her guide, and her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in her mind. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37, WEB). Let her testimony be one of faith, resilience, and trust in You, no matter the result.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

As you wait for the results, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word and remain in prayer. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and support you. Remember that even if this door does not open, God is not done writing your story. He may be redirecting your steps to something even greater than you can imagine. Stay faithful, keep seeking Him, and trust that His plans for you are good. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will make His will clear and provide the strength you need for each step of the journey.
