Hope and love

Beloved of All
Please pray that my Boyfriend would be loving and kind to stay with me and work through this. I left everyone in my life to be with him and last night he broke up with me, I Need prayer to bring this back together. Because the pretence that this is falling under are wrong and needs to see the light.
Please pray that he responds to me with truth and Love instead of pain, hurt, condemnation, and lies. I pray that he will really truly come back to be better and strong with love then before.

We hear your heartache and desperation, and we lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. First, we must address some concerns with your request in light of Scripture. You refer to this man as your "boyfriend," but the Bible is clear that relationships between believers should be pursued with the intention of marriage, not merely companionship. Courtship is a season of discernment leading to a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage, it may be wise to seek God’s guidance on whether it aligns with His will for your life.

Additionally, the pain you feel is understandable, but we must gently remind you that God’s ways are higher than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9). While reconciliation may be possible, we must surrender this situation to Him and trust His plan, even if it differs from our desires. The Bible warns us against placing our hope in people rather than God (Jeremiah 17:5-6). Have you considered that this breakup may be an opportunity for you to draw closer to the Lord and seek His will above all else?

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him (Romans 10:9-10). He is the source of true love, peace, and healing.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is in pain. Lord, You see her tears and her longing for reconciliation. We ask that You would comfort her with Your presence and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we pray for this young man, that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You. If it is Your will, Lord, bring restoration to this relationship, but only in a way that honors You and aligns with Your Word. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would give her the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan for her life.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, desperation, or idolatry in this situation. Help her to place her hope and trust in You alone, not in this man or any other person. Give her the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow it, even when it is difficult. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in her life or in this relationship, whether it be fornication, emotional dependency, or anything else, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead her to repentance. Cleanse her heart and renew her mind according to Your Word (Romans 12:2).

We pray that You would heal her heart and restore her joy. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who can encourage her and point her to You. Lord, if this relationship is to be restored, let it be for Your glory and in accordance with Your design for marriage. If not, we ask that You would prepare her heart for the future You have planned for her, one filled with hope and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, seeking His face above all else. Consider fasting as you seek His will for this relationship. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He longs to heal and restore you. If this man is not the one God has for you, trust that He has someone far better in store. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you are not already in a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by godly community. You are not alone, God sees you, and He loves you deeply.

We ache with you over this, the shock, the isolation, and the deep hurt you’re carrying right now. Leaving everyone behind to build a life with someone and then watching it all collapse overnight is a brutal loss, and the confusion when facts feel twisted only compounds the grief. You’re not crazy for feeling this way, and you don’t have to hide the pain.

When we hand so much of our security to one human heart, a breakup can leave us feeling not only lonely but unmoored. Right now the most important step you can take is to not face this alone. Isolation will only deepen the wound. Reach out to a safe person, maybe a mature Christian friend, a pastor, or a women’s group at a local church, someone who will simply be present and let you talk without rushing to fix everything. You need a soft place to land while your own emotions settle, because making decisions from this raw place rarely leads to clarity. Let others help carry the weight while you find your footing again.

As you wait, we also want to pray for what God does best: bringing truth to light, healing shattered trust, and giving you the steady strength to walk forward with dignity, whatever tomorrow holds. That doesn’t mean denying your longing for things to be made right, it means holding that desire with open hands before a Heavenly Father who sees you completely and won’t waste this season.

Jesus, hold this woman close tonight. Wrap her in Your comfort and shield her from the voices that speak shame or despair. Give her wisdom to know whom to trust right now, and send someone to walk alongside her in practical, steady kindness. In the midst of confusion, let Your truth break through clearly. Guard her heart and mind, and guide her steps. We ask this in Your name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

The depth of your pain is not hidden from the eye of Him who seeth all things, yet it would be a poor love indeed if I offered you comfort that ignores the truth of God. You speak of hope and love, but the love that abides forever is the love of Christ for His own, not the fickle affection of a man who may stay today and leave tomorrow. I hear your cry, and my soul is moved, but I must point you to a better covenant, a surer bond.

You say you left everyone in your life to be with him. Consider this: the heart that forsakes all other claims to cling to a creature sets itself up for a desolation. The first commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and no earthly tie must take His throne. It may be that in mercy this wound has been permitted, that you might learn that no human arm can bear the weight of your soul. The love of Jesus Christ to His chosen made Him desire to bind Himself to them, and He never breaks His pledge. How poor and uncertain beside that is the loveliest of human attachments! He saith, “I have loved thee with an everlasting love”; He doth not say, “Stay with me and I will love,” but He hath already loved, and therefore He draweth us with cords of a man.

You long for him to respond with truth and love instead of pain, hurt, condemnation, and lies. Yet there is a deeper truth you must buy at any price: the truth concerning your own soul before God. You seek to mend a union that hath no holy warrant. A boyfriend is not a husband; the intimacies that belong only to the marriage covenant have been shared outside it, and that is a grief to the Holy One of Israel. The pretence that hath shadowed this bond is not merely in his words, but in the very foundation of it. Until you are ready to lay all at the foot of the cross and do that which is right in the sight of the Lord, you are building on the sand.

Yet despair not, for there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. If you will now flee to Him, confessing your sin and trusting His blood, you shall find that free pardon is a great conqueror. His love will dissolve your heart and make you turn from sin with burning hatred. Then, being justified by faith, you shall have peace with God, and He will order your life according to His wisdom. Perhaps the man may be brought to true repentance and faith, and then in honourable marriage you may walk together in the fear of the Lord. But love that is wildfire, though it scorch, cannot be trusted; only that love which God hath kindled according to His own word and ordinance will burn steadily unto eternal life.

Let your first prayer be for reconciliation with your Maker. He wants the love of your heart, not the mere attendance to external things. Tell the Saviour now: “Do I love Thee, O my Lord? Behold my heart and see.” He delights in love, and He hath prepared everything for a perfect reconciliation. Then, walking in the light of His truth, you will learn to love aright, and all other loves will fall into their proper place, subordinate to Him who is altogether lovely.

Buy the truth at any cost, and sell it not. Truth is in His blood, it will wash away what is false in you. Truth is in His Spirit, it will eradicate what is dark and vile. His love will make you true by conforming you to Himself. Come to Christ. Do not merely hear it; come. Then you will know a love that surpasses the love of women or of men, a love wonderful, intense, and abiding, that never falleth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayer that your boyfriend would return and that the false pretenses around your parting would be exposed. But first, examine what love truly is. If you love God, you keep His commandments. To say you love Him while ignoring His design for your life is mere show. You left everyone to be with this man, did you leave God’s order as well? A union outside marriage, a life built on passion rather than obedience, cannot be blessed. Do not pray for the restoration of something that may itself be rooted in sin. The breakup may be God’s mercy, a sorrow meant to turn you back to Him.

True love is not found in a man’s return, but in the compassionate High Priest who took flesh to reconcile us to God. He alone is faithful and merciful. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth, for it seeks its own desires. Your boyfriend’s affection is fleeting, but Christ’s love is everlasting. If he abandoned you, it may be that his heart is not set on the truth. Do not let your hope be in his returning, but in the life to come, where no one will wound you. Tribulation, endured with prayer, produces patience and a tested character. Continue instant in prayer, but let your prayer be: “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

If this man is to come back, it must be under the light of God’s truth, in repentance, in lawful marriage, and with a shared love for Christ above all. But do not idolize a human relationship. The devil is a liar and a murderer, and he entices souls to cling to what perishes. Set your affection on things above. Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all else will be added. May the Lord grant you grace to see that His good tidings are better than any earthly reunion: forgiveness, adoption, and an inheritance among the saints. Let this pain drive you not to despair, but to the unwavering hope that comes from the Spirit.

The ache of rejection runs deep, and when you have risked everything to be with someone, the pain of a sudden breakup can feel overwhelming. In such moments, it is easy to cling to any hope that the person will turn, see the light, and come back with a stronger love. Yet the scriptures remind us that human affections, even intense ones, can grow cold when iniquity abounds. A love built only on emotion or physical attraction, what some ancient thinkers called eros or phileo, often proves fragile and self-seeking, breaking apart under pressure.

What you are asking for, a return to truth, kindness, and genuine love, is a noble desire, but it requires examining the foundation of that love. The deepest, most enduring love is not what we grasp for in another person, but what we first receive from God. This is agape love, a self-giving, sacrificial love that does not rejoice in wrong but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things. Unless a relationship is rooted in this kind of love, tested and aligned with God’s commandments, it will always be vulnerable to lies, pain, and pretense.

I hear you saying that the reasons for the breakup are based on falsehood and need to be exposed. That is a crucial insight. For anything that hides from the light is not of the truth. The Spirit of truth reveals, convicts, and draws us to walk in God’s ways. And the truth is that God’s design for love between a man and a woman is meant to flourish within the safety of a lifelong covenant, not in a trial run where we abandon all other relationships. When we leave behind everyone and everything for someone who is not yet a spouse, we often place a weight on that bond it was never designed to carry.

Instead of praying primarily for this man to change and return, I encourage you to seek the One whose love never fails. Jesus is the true Bridegroom who purchased us at great cost to draw us into His eternal kingdom. He loves with an everlasting love, and His heart responds to our cries. Let His love fill the empty places right now. As you rest in Him, ask Him to give you clarity to discern what is from His Spirit and what is from a spirit of error. True love does not traffic in condemnation and lies; it is consistent and rooted in action, not just words.

May you come to know the peace that comes from dwelling in the truth. May you find healing not in the restoration of a broken human relationship at any cost, but in the presence of God, who is love. As you abide in Him, His love will be perfected in you, and you will be able to walk in light, loving others in a way that reflects His character, with purity, patience, and kindness. Jesus knows your sorrow; He is near to the brokenhearted. Trust that He can work even this pain for your good as you surrender your hopes to Him.
