Amen

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you before the throne of grace where Jesus Himself intercedes for you. Your longing to know His love more intimately and to be transformed into His likeness is a holy desire, one that the Father delights in. The Word tells us, "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit" (2 Corinthians 3:18). This transformation is not just possible, it is promised to those who seek Him with their whole heart.

You are not alone in feeling as though time is slipping away or that the weight of this life is too heavy to bear. The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that you are beyond hope or that Jesus’ sacrifice was not enough for you. But we rebuke that deception in the name of Jesus! The truth is that "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). His love for you is not dependent on your circumstances, your strength, or even your ability to "feel" Him. His love is an unshakable reality, proven once and for all on the cross. "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

We pray now that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened, that you would know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18). Father, we ask that You would manifest Your presence to our dear brother/sister in a tangible way, whether through Your Word, through the whisper of the Holy Spirit, through the love of Your people, or even in a dream or vision. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Let them feel the weight of Your glory resting upon them, transforming them from the inside out. Break every chain of doubt, fear, or despair that would seek to separate them from the love of Christ. Remind them that they are not their own, they were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and their life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).

We also speak life over you. The enemy may have whispered that you won’t "make it out of this alive," but we declare that Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not here by accident, you were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the Lord has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or despair, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a fellow believer, so that you do not have to carry this burden alone. The Lord often works through the hands and feet of His people to bring comfort and healing.

Above all, we pray that you would encounter the love of Jesus in a way that leaves no room for doubt. May you know, beyond all feeling, that He gave it all for you, that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May you walk in the assurance that you are being conformed to His image, not by your own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit at work within you.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would draw near to our brother/sister in a way that is undeniable. Let them experience Your love as a consuming fire, burning away every lie and every fear. Let them know that You are not distant or indifferent, You are Immanuel, God with us. Strengthen their faith, even when their feelings waver. Remind them that You are the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). May they walk in the fullness of who You created them to be, reflecting Your glory to a world that desperately needs to see You. We ask all of this in Your mighty and precious name, Jesus. Amen.

We hear how much you’ve given, how deeply you long to know, not just believe but truly taste and feel, that Jesus’ life, death, and love were for you. That kind of desperate hunger is something God does not despise. He draws near to the exhausted heart that has nothing left to offer but its need.

It can help to remember that even after Peter, James, and John saw Jesus transfigured in glory, they still had to walk back down the mountain into ordinary life, carrying a fragile and often confusing memory of what they’d glimpsed. Peter wanted to stretch that moment into a permanent shelter, but Jesus led them back into the valley instead, because that is where he actually does his work in us. When our own feelings of closeness seem to evaporate and we can’t sense him at all, we aren’t being abandoned. We’re being invited to trust that his love holds steady underneath our shifting emotions.

One gentle step, right where you are now, is to stop laboring to produce an experience and instead let yourself rest in what is already true. You can simply tell Jesus, out loud or silently, “I want to know your love for me. Help my unbelief. I will wait here with you.” Even if it feels like nothing changes, you are not failing. Leaning toward him in honest weakness is itself a real encounter.

We pray with you now.

Jesus, meet this one who has poured out everything to find you. You know what it is to give your whole life, and you did it for them. Quiet the racing fears, and steady this heart with your presence that needs no dramatic sign to be real. Let them taste your goodness in the ordinary moments of today, and hold onto you when everything feels empty. Carry them through this valley. We trust you together. Amen.

Your heart’s cry rises like incense, and the very longing you feel is more precious than you know. You say you need Jesus’ love, to feel, sense, touch, taste it, and you wonder if His life and death were truly for you. Let me tell you plainly: that hunger itself is His love already at work in your soul. Jesus finds a man before the man ever finds Jesus. You think you are seeking Him, but behind the veil, His sovereign love has been seeking you from eternity. The day will come when you shall see that all your desperate reaching was really His hand drawing you to Himself.

Do not fear that you must feel some overwhelming emotion before you may be assured. Love to Jesus is not always a blazing fire; sometimes it is a dimly burning wick. But if you love Him at all, if your heart says, “My Jesus, I love You, I know You are mine”, then you have passed the great test. Do you trust Him? Do you lean on Him with all your weight? That trust, however weak, is the very evidence that the love of Christ has found you. The disciple whom Jesus loved did not boast of his own love, but marveled that Jesus loved him. So it must be with us. Our love is but a spark from the eternal flame of His love for us.

You speak of being transfigured into the Lord’s image. That is a holy desire, born of heaven. Yet remember that even up there on the mountain of glory, the vision resolved itself into “Jesus only.” Down in the valley, where you wrestle and fear and feel your own frailty, it is still “Jesus only.” His matchless grace can encounter no rival. Look not to your own frames or feelings, but to Him. The Christ of Gethsemane and Calvary, who thirsted and fainted and died, did all that for you. Can you Gethsemane forget? His love gave everything; it passes knowledge, yet it stoops to the weakest soul. What love has made us heirs of God, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ!

I would not chide your longing to taste His love; rather, I would urge you to feed fully at the banquet. Do not restrict yourself as though you could go too far in rejoicing in Christ. His love is better than wine. Let faith take in a whole Christ, all the grace, the glory, the love that is laid up in Him. Though you walk in darkness and see no light, trust in His name and stay upon His God. The transfigured, glorified Jesus is still a loving Savior, willing to pardon and forgive. His love to you is wonderful, surpassing all other loves. He invites you now: “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth.” Be not afraid of too much assurance or too much holy joy; the love of Jesus cannot be too powerfully felt in the soul.

If your tongue fails you, let your heart speak in silent adoration. If you have but a feebler instrument, make it known that you love your Lord best of all. The Master delights in the stammering affection of His beloved. He knows your frame, remembers you are dust, yet His love abides through every provocation. He is jealous for your love because He loves you as His own soul. Cast yourself upon Him. Live upon Him. Die upon Him. Before your number is up, let your soul say, “I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me.” The day you first live with Jesus will be the best day you ever spent, and the beginning of never living without Him. Even now, He stretches out His hands, and on His lips are pardons, blessings, love. Fly to those arms and be saved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The soul that yearns so intensely for Christ’s love is already caught by grace. Do not think you must ascend to the heavens to bring Him down, or descend into the deep to taste Him by the senses. The grace of God has appeared, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. What you seek to feel and touch is received now by faith, which is far more certain than sight or taste. For in Christ you have been enriched in everything, in all speech and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ has been confirmed in you, so that you are not lacking in any gift as you wait for His revelation.

You say you have given all you have. Blessed was the poor widow who gave her whole living, but blessed not because she purchased mercy, but because love overflowed from a heart pierced by the love of God. It is grace, not works. Where grace is, works are not; where works, it is no more grace. So do not stand perplexed, wondering if His death was for you. He gave Himself up for us enemies and disgraced, so that at once we became saints and sons. When Paul calls the Father “our Father,” he shows you to be a son, and that one word unveils the whole treasure of blessings.

Do not seek a sign or a sensible vision of the Beloved. He is nearer to you through humility than through any ecstasy. Lowliness of mind finds grace with God. Cry out, “Lord, make room for me in Your heart!” and you will discover He has already made room for you in His, and longs for your love in return. Nothing kindles love so much as knowing the beloved desires our love. You wish to be transfigured into the Lord’s format; this is the hope of every saint. Be patient, for the Lord Himself will appear and will confirm you unreprovable, transforming your lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power that enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.

Do not fear whether you will make it out of this life. He who has given you the firstfruits of the Spirit will not abandon the work of His hands. Through the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ, hold fast the confession of hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. May grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ rest perpetually and unmoved upon you, until you see the very Sun of Righteousness. Glory be to Him forever. Amen.

Your words carry the weight of a soul pressed to its limits, crying out for the one thing that truly matters. You have given all you have just to know the Lord Jesus. That kind of longing does not come from nowhere. It is the drawing of the Father, stirring a hunger that only Christ can satisfy. And the beautiful reality is this: you do not need to climb up to Him or make yourself worthy first. The way is already open. Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation.

The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all who will receive it. You are asking if His life and death were for you personally, if His love was truly given for your sake. Look at what He did. He who knew no sin was made sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. He took your place so you could take His. That is not a distant historical fact. It is the living offer of reconciliation held out to you right now. Do not receive this grace in vain. Accept it. The entire debt has been paid. His finished work is the ground you stand on, not your ability to feel it or sense it perfectly.

I hear your deep desire for a tangible encounter, to taste and see that He is good. You want to be transfigured, reshaped into His likeness. That very desire is a mark of His Spirit at work. Yet often, the transformation happens not in a single overwhelming moment, but as a refining fire. The trial of your faith, even this desperation, can be like the purifying of gold. It strips away every false hope, every attempt to save yourself, and drives you down to the bedrock of His grace alone. When you learn to come to God on the basis of what He has done for you, not on what you have done for Him, you gain a confidence that feelings can never provide.

You do not come before a paymaster to receive wages for your efforts. You come to a throne of grace. There you find mercy and grace to help in your time of need. Jesus made the way for you to come boldly, not arrogantly, but with the full assurance that you are accepted in the Beloved. You are not an outsider hoping to be noticed. Through faith in Him, you are a child of God, adopted into the family, made a joint heir with Christ. Whatever weakness you feel, whatever distress or reproach weighs you down, He does not cast you out. He takes pleasure in drawing near to the broken and contrite heart.

The proof of His work in a life is not always a constant flood of sensation, but the quiet, deepening fruit of His Spirit. Chief among that fruit is love, not the shallow, self-seeking emotion the world chases, but the divine, self-sacrificing love that flows from God Himself. To love Christ whom you have not yet seen with your eyes, to trust His promise and lay your life down in response, that is the evidence of new birth. This love becomes rooted and grounded in you as you come to know more fully the height and depth of what He gave for you.

So do not pin your hope on making it out alive in a physical sense, as if your entire purpose hangs on that outcome. Your hope rests in something far more secure. There remains a rest for the people of God. It is the rest of ceasing from your own works and trusting completely in His. No matter what fire you walk through, an entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is ministered to you abundantly. He who began a good work in you will complete it. You will be found to the praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Receive that mercy now. The love you long for has already been poured out. It was for you.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to experience the fullness of Jesus’ love and presence in your life. Thank you for trusting us to stand with you in this sacred moment of seeking. We have prayed fervently that the Lord would reveal Himself to you in ways that are tangible—so you may feel His nearness, taste His goodness, and be transformed by His grace. Your longing to be conformed to His image is beautiful, and we believe He is drawing you even closer as you seek Him.

If the Lord has already met you in a powerful way—if you’ve sensed His love wrapping around you, His peace filling your heart, or His presence breaking through—please share that praise with us! We would rejoice with you. If, however, the wait continues and you still feel distant or uncertain, we invite you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in lifting you up, for we know the Father hears the cries of His children.

May the Holy Spirit minister to your spirit in ways beyond what words can express. May you encounter Jesus in the depths of your soul, knowing without a doubt that He gave it all for *you*—that His love is personal, relentless, and life-changing. We continue to pray that His grace would sustain you, His hope would anchor you, and His presence would carry you through every moment.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
