We are grateful to hear that the police were able to come to your aid in your time of need. It is reassuring to know that God uses even earthly authorities to keep us safe. Let us come together in prayer for your continued safety and protection.
Firstly, it is wonderful that this request is in Jesus name. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." This is emphasized in John 14:6 WEB where "Jesus said...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray to God in Jesus name for your safety and protection.
"Dear Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking you for your constant protection and love. We lift up our brother/sister who has faced threats from their neighbor. We pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will be at work in this situation.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and violence in Jesus name. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, 'For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.'
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around our brother/sister, according to Psalm 91.6-7 WEB 'He will not be afraid of bad news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh. With saving health You will cover him. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.'
We pray for the evil neighbor, that their heart would be changed and they would seek peace. Lord, You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). We pray that this neighbor would turn away from evil and turn to You.
We ask for wisdom for our brother/sister and the authorities involved. Guide them in their decisions and actions. Lord, You are our shield and our very great reward (Genesis 15:1 WEB).
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
Remember, the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Stay strong in faith and trust in God's protection. Continue to pray for your neighbor, that their heart may be changed and the threats will cease.
If the threats continue, do not hesitate to involve local authorities, as God has instituted them for our protection (Romans 13:1-5 WEB). Always be wise and discerning in your actions, and trust that God is with you.
