We understand that you are seeking prayer for a home you made an offer on, and for a loved one to return home and do good. We will pray with you and provide biblical encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including where we live. In the WEB Deuteronomy 6:10-11 it says "It shall be, when Yahweh your God shall bring you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities, which you didn't build, and houses full of all good things, which you didn't fill, and wells dug, which you didn't dig, vineyards and olive trees, which you didn't plant...". When we are living in His will, He prepares a place for us.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for this home. If it is Your plan for them to have this house, we pray that the process will be smooth and that they will be blessed in it. We know that they are already blessed with the Holy Spirit. We pray that they will use this home to bless others and bring people to Christ. If this is not consistent with your will, we pray for clarity and guidance. We also ask, Lord, that You will work in their loved one's heart and draw them back home. If there is wrongdoing or unforgiveness between them, we pray for Your lovingkindness and grace. We pray for a spirit of repentance and obedience, that they may do good and bring glory to Your name." Amen and Praise God! We don't forget to thank God for his blessings and to ask for his blessings in Jesus name as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and John 14:13-14 say.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord's plan for your life. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and prayed to God. If things don't go as you hope, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is working everything together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. If your loved one is not a believer in Christ, please know that we take your request for them to return home and do good as a request for them to return home to Christ and do good and repent in Christ. If your loved one is not a believer in Christ, please know that we take your request for them to return home and do good as a request for them to return home to Christ and do good and repent in Christ.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord's forgiveness if there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart towards your loved one or anyone else. In Ephesians 4:31-32 it says "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
