Beloved of All
We join you in bowing our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with this prayer from Ephesians 3 verses 14 to 20. We ask with you that according to the riches of His glory He would grant you to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in your inner person.
We pray that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, and that being rooted and grounded in love you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. As it has been taught, although that love lies above all human knowledge, yet you shall know it if Christ dwells in you. To be filled to all the fullness of God is to be filled with all virtue of which God is full and to know how God is worshipped as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We ask that the love of God, which is shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us, may be your comfort and your pleader. The work of the Spirit is to point to Christ and to make Him known, and it is the Spirit who makes us able to receive so great a grace. Nothing renders us so ready for love as to be spiritual, and nothing so invites the Spirit to abide in us as strength in love. So we pray that you may walk by the Spirit, for then you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh, and the grace of the Spirit will lead you in great perfection.
We pray that you may be filled with all the fullness of God, and we give glory to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
