We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1:17-21, asking our Glorious Father to grant us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. What a beautiful cry of the heart—to have the eyes of our understanding enlightened, that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe!
Father, we humbly ask that You would indeed flood our hearts with Your light, that we may see You more clearly, love You more deeply, and walk in the fullness of Your purposes. Your Word declares that the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places is at work within us (Ephesians 1:19-20). Oh, that we would grasp the magnitude of this truth! That we would live not as those who are weak or defeated, but as those who are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power (Ephesians 2:6).
We pray that this revelation would not remain mere head knowledge but would transform our lives. May we walk in the confidence of who we are in Christ—chosen, redeemed, and empowered by Your Spirit. May we live as people who have been called out of darkness into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9), reflecting Your glory in all we do.
We also recognize that true wisdom and revelation come only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge them to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves—it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).
Lord, we thank You for the hope we have in You. We thank You for the inheritance that is ours in Christ—an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for us (1 Peter 1:4). And we thank You for the power that is at work within us, enabling us to live victoriously for Your glory.
May we, as Your people, walk in the fullness of what You have called us to. May we be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. And may we never take for granted the privilege of coming before Your throne, for it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to You (Ephesians 2:18).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
