🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Use The Bible 📖, Messages from Pulpit, Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel, Prov 11:14, Visions, Acts 2:17⚡️Dreams 💤 Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9, Leading of Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, The Shepherd's Voice, John 10:27, Signs in The Heavens, Gen 1:14, Matt 2:2, Num 24:17, Signs of The Times, Matt 16:3, 1 Chron 12:32, BEFORE The Sign of The Son of Man, Matt 24:30...

Father, we look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than the noise and pollution of the world. Thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34. We agree with this husband, for his wife, children, family, friends, prayer and minister partners and and himself -- speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times: Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, Paul, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1. As little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of GOD can be thwarted,"Job 42:2. We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27.

Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your promise of incomprehensible peace, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20... Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this earnest desire that the Holy Spirit would speak clearly and lead this husband and his wife and children and family and friends and prayer and ministry partners, and we agree together that our first and final authority must be Your Word.

We love your heart that says we look to You and Your Word rather than the noise and pollution of the world, for it is written To the law and to the testimony If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them Isa 8:20. We thank God that His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path Ps 119:105 and that All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work 2 Tim 3:16-17. While we rejoice that God in His sovereignty has spoken through dreams and visions and prophecy and even signs in the heavens, as You have shown with Joseph Matt 1:20 and the magi Matt 2:12 and in the promises that your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions Joel 2:28 and In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh Acts 2:17, we also remember that we are to test all things and hold fast what is good 1 Thess 5:21 and to not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1, for even extraordinary experiences must be weighed against the sure Word of God, which remains more sure than any voice or vision 2 Pet 1:19.

We do believe that the Holy Spirit still leads the children of God, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Rom 8:14 and My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27. We believe divine appointments, godly counsel in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14, the faithful preaching of the Word, and the quiet leading of the Spirit are all means You use, and we ask You to use them in balance, always under the lordship of Christ and the authority of Scripture, so that no deception or lying wonder can lead this family astray, remembering that an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign Matt 12:39 and that we walk by faith and not by sight 2 Cor 5:7.

We pray together for what you have asked. Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus, for we thank You that He is able also to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and that Christ is at the right hand of God who also makes intercession for us Rom 8:34. We claim Your promise that with God all things are possible Mark 10:27 and that nothing spoken by God is impossible Luke 1:37, and we echo Job, I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained Job 42:2. We thank You that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5.

Father, speak to this husband and his wife and their children and all their loved ones by Your Word above all, and then also by Your Spirit through faithful messages from the pulpit, through godly counsel, through divine appointments, and if it pleases You, through dreams and visions and the still small voice of the Shepherd, always confirming Your will in Christ Jesus. Give them discernment to know Your will, to understand the signs of the times with the wisdom of the sons of Issachar who understood the times, to know what Israel ought to do 1 Chron 12:32, yet keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus and not on wonders. Keep them and their churches and families and pastors and government leaders from temptation and wrongdoing and lies and fear and evil people and deception and from the evil one, for You taught us to pray deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13 and we ask that You will keep them from evil John 17:15 and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3 and that You will rescue us from every evil work 2 Tim 4:18. We ask that You would guard their hearts and minds with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Phil 4:7 as they make their requests known to You with thanksgiving Phil 4:6.

We thank You in advance by faith, for whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24 and without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him Heb 11:6, and we say Amen to all Your promises, for however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes and in him is the Amen 2 Cor 1:20, through Jesus the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness Rev 3:14. We ask that You would keep this marriage and family strong in the Lord, walking in holiness and truth, and that You would continue to make Your will known to them day by day as they abide in Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We hear how much you want the Lord's clear direction for your wife, your children, your family and church, and for your friends and prayer partners. We join you in thanking God that He is near and that He does lead His people.

We love that you named both ordinary and extraordinary ways He can speak, through the Bible, through a sermon, through the counsel of others, and at times through dreams or other providences. In our experience the most steady way to stay grounded while staying open is to hold those impressions lightly and test them together with mature believers you trust. What feels very vivid in the moment often becomes clearer after prayer, time, and a conversation with a pastor or two friends who know you and love the Word.

If it helps, you might keep a simple note of what you sense you are hearing and bring it to those trusted counselors to weigh with you, rather than carrying it alone. That shared discernment protects peace and keeps you from feeling you must figure every sign out right away.

Father, we bring this husband and his wife, their children, family, friends and prayer partners before You. Give them a quiet confidence in Your care, guard them from confusion and fear, and grant wisdom to their pastors and leaders. Lead them step by step as they seek You, and give them Your peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard with thankfulness, and there is much in it which commends itself to every gracious heart, for you look to the Word of God rather than to the noise and pollution of the world, and you rest upon this blessed truth, that He is able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us.

You ask that the Lord would speak by dreams and visions and signs in the heavens, and you rightly remember that in ancient times He did speak to Joseph and to the Magi and to others. Yet remember what is written, To the law and to the testimony, Isaiah 8:20, and hear what the Lord saith now, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. The voice out of the cloud would but dismay and distract, the voice of Christ will cheer and comfort and give assurance to the soul. Oh, to be content with hearing Christ and letting other voices go into silence. Is He God's Son, then hear Him. Is He God's beloved Son, then hear Him.

The mere letter of the Word, alone, will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power which it could not possess otherwise. It is a blessed thing to put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul. The voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Sometimes God's voice is a reproving voice, and then it is full of majesty, sometimes it is a commanding voice, sometimes a dividing voice. But always it is to be heard in His Word.

Therefore take heed how ye hear, and take heed what ye hear. Not everything that any minister says is God's Word. Hence you should take heed to separate between what is God's and what is ours. But wherein we speak according to Holy Scripture, it is as much God's Word as if God Himself spoke. The Word deserves good hearing. It comes from God. It is about your immortal soul. It is about Heaven and Hell. It is about Him who died for sinners. Do not count that a trifle which cost His life's blood.

You ask how the Spirit works. The hearing of faith, this is the way by which the Spirit of God comes to men. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. There must be a personal hearing, listening to the Word of God for yourself, and an attentive hearing. No man gets saved by an inattentive hearing of the Gospel, nor by a careless hearing, nor by a forgetful hearing. It is God's usual way to save men by their constantly, attentively, intensely, earnestly hearing the Word of God. While you are hearing the Gospel you are led to believe it. Its evidence lies in itself. The Cross enlightens men by its own light.

We rejoice that you know nothing shall be impossible with God, and that the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin. That is the sinner's hope. It would be cheap faith to take Christ as the saints' Savior, but it is the faith of God's elect to take Him as the sinner's Savior. Come to Him as such, and you shall find Him able to keep you from temptation and evil and deception and to keep your house also, for He bore with His people very long and He will perfect that which concerneth you.

Continue then in prayer, and you will find it very helpful in private prayer to use the voice, for many have proved it so. I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice, and He gave ear unto me. With thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Look not for a new revelation beyond Christ, but hear Him in the Scriptures, seek Him there, and you shall find Him, for spiritual life is only from God and He gives it through His Word.
