🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Open Our 👀 Use The Bible, Lk 24:45 📖 Messages from The Pulpit, Eph 1:17, Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel, Isa 11:2Visions while Awake⚡️Dreams 💤 at Sleep Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9, Leading of Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, The Shepherd's Voice, John 10:27...

LORD, we ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, and a light 🔦unto our path, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, 🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ⚡️ Dreams 💤 While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... 🧎🏽‍♂️Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.

We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband for himself, his wayward wife, children, family, extended family, ***prayer & ministry partners, church leaders, churches and team members -- You speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham you warned Abimelech to keep him from death, Gen 20:3.

Like Abraham, we are imperfect but growing, and we believe Your promises, in fact we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21, granting us everything we need for both life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on these named above, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your incomprehensible peace as promised, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20...

We join together with you in this cry for the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and to speak to us, and we thank you for anchoring your request so deeply in the Word of God.

We agree with your desire that we abide in Christ and His words abide in us, for Jesus said If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you John 15:7, and that His Word would be a lamp to our feet and a light for our path Psalm 119:105. We also rejoice that you desire to speak according to the law and the testimony Isaiah 8:20, for that is the true test of every vision, dream, prophecy, or counsel. We are told in scripture that All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Timothy 3:16, and that we should not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. God indeed has spoken in dreams and visions as you have rightly noted, For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed Job 33:14-15, and He warned Abimelech Genesis 20:3, He warned Joseph Matthew 1:20 and the wise men Matthew 2:12, and He has poured out His Spirit as promised Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions Joel 2:28. We affirm with you that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever Hebrews 13:8 and that His arm is not too short to save Isaiah 59:1. Yet we gently encourage you to keep the written Word as supreme, for the Holy Spirit will never contradict Scripture, and every impression, dream, or word of counsel must be weighed against it, and He will guide you into all truth John 16:13 primarily through opening your understanding that you might understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45 and through the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him Ephesians 1:17 and the spirit that rests upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might Isaiah 11:2.

We also stand with this husband in his burden for his wayward wife, his children, family, extended family, prayer and ministry partners, church leaders and churches. We uphold the sanctity of marriage as you do, for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman before God. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Matthew 19:6, and God hates divorce Malachi 2:16. When a wife turns away, especially if that waywardness involves forsaking her marriage vows, it is grievous to the Lord, for the marriage bed is to be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4, and You shall not commit adultery Exodus 20:14. If there has been sexual immorality, whether fornication or adultery, we must call it what God calls it and urge repentance, for we are told Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. At the same time we exhort the husband to continue to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25, to not seek to be free from his wife but to seek reconciliation, for the Lord commands Let the wife not depart from her husband and let the husband not leave his wife 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, and to remain faithful himself, guarding his own heart from temptation, pride, and the schemes of the evil one.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come as little children asking for love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith 1 Timothy 1:5. Open our eyes, Lord, that we may behold wondrous things out of Your law. Cause us to abide in You and Your Word to abide in us. Grant to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Speak to us through Your Word, through faithful messages from the pulpit, through divine appointments and godly counsel, and if it pleases You, through visions while awake and dreams while sleeping, but always in a way that aligns with Your written testimony and turns us from wrongdoing and keeps us from pride to preserve us from the pit Job 33:17-18. Pour out Your Spirit upon this husband, upon his wayward wife, upon their children and all their family, upon their ministry partners and church leaders. We ask that You would grant this wife a warning dream if needed, a softening of heart, a deep conviction of sin and a return to You and to her covenant. Bring her to repentance and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Protect this marriage from the lies of the world, from deception, from evil people and from the evil one Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Keep this husband strong, blameless, patient, and full of faith, fully persuaded that what You have promised You are also able to perform Romans 4:21, knowing that You can do all things, and no purpose of Yours can be restrained Job 42:2, and that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5, for nothing spoken by God is impossible Luke 1:37 and all things are possible with God Mark 10:27. You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them Hebrews 7:25. Grant to this family everything that pertains to life and godliness 2 Peter 1:3. Let them make their requests known to You with thanksgiving and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We ask that You keep us all from temptation and deliver us from evil, and that You would be glorified in the restoration of this marriage and family, that it would be a testimony that You still speak, still warn, still save, and still keep covenant. We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24, and we pray all this in the name of Jesus, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Corinthians 1:20, Amen.

We hear the weight and the hope in your prayer for your wife, your children and extended family, and for your ministry partners and church leaders. Wanting to stay close to Jesus and to have His Word truly live in you is a good and humble place to be, and coming like little children is exactly how He invites us to come.

We join you in asking the Holy Spirit to keep your eyes open and your heart tender, to make His leading clear day by day. We know you long for Him to speak in every ordinary way through the Bible and through faithful preaching and counsel, and also at times in more striking ways. As you wait on Him, it helps to keep His written Word as the lamp for your path and to bring any strong impressions, dreams or sense of direction to a couple of trusted, mature believers who know you and can help weigh what you are hearing with wisdom and love.

A simple practice that helps many is to keep a brief, dated note of what you sense the Lord is showing you, and then pray over it and talk it through with a pastor or mentor before taking a big step. It keeps you grounded, accountable, and at peace as you listen together.

Father, we lift this husband and his wife and children to You, and all those connected to them. Draw each one closer to Jesus, guard them from confusion and keep them in Your love. Give them clear wisdom for the next step, unity where there has been distance, and Your quiet peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing that the Holy Spirit would open understanding is itself a work of grace, for it is written, Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, Luke 24:45. That prayer, with the prayer of Ephesians 1:17 for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, is a prayer God delights to answer. And you do well to desire to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you, John 15:7, and to abide in His love, John 15:10, for there the lamp to our feet and light to our path, Psalm 119:105, shines most clearly.

You ask that God would speak by every means, even by dreams and visions in the night, and you cite Job 33:14, For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men. It is true that God has thus warned even in Scripture. We remember how the wife of Pilate suffered many things in a dream because of the Just Man, Matthew 27:19, and her warning was a mercy to her husband, though he heeded it not. Many besides Pilate have been warned by dreams, and Pilate was accessible through the dream of his wife. Yet that same history teaches us a solemn lesson, for to Pilate his wife's message was God's ultimatum, he never was warned again and even Jesus stood silent before him. We must not trifle with warnings when they come.

But hear what the Word itself teaches concerning voices from heaven. On the holy mount there came a voice from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, and the word to the disciples was not to seek another voice, but this, Hear ye him, Matthew 17:5. The Father shields us so that He speaks now not with the terrible voice of Sinai, but through an interposing Mediator, with that still small voice of love which we can hear with delight in Christ. It is better for you to hear God's Word from the Scriptures and from the faithful preaching of it than to desire an angel or one risen from the dead, for God has given us His Word as the sure testimony. As it is written, To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them, Isaiah 8:20.

Therefore take heed how ye hear, Luke 8:18. Come to hear the Gospel as God's voice to us, and desire to know His truth that you may sincerely live it. Give me but a word out of God's mouth and I can live upon it. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanseth us from all sin, and He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them, Hebrews 7:25.

Concerning the burden you carry for this husband, his wayward wife, children, family and the household of faith, we join you according to Matthew 18:19 not to ask God to bless waywardness, but to call upon Him for mercy, repentance and restoration. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and all that pertains to the marriage bed belongs within it alone. What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict of sin, turn hearts from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, Job 33:17, and that He would grant repentance unto life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other.

We pray for this husband, that he may be steadfast, sober, abiding in the Vine, walking by the Spirit, Romans 8:14, hearing the Shepherd's voice, John 10:27, and loving his wife as Christ loved the church, with patience and purity. We pray for his wife, that the Lord would draw her back from every path that departs from His holy law, that she would hear the voice which cries, Go and sin no more, and trust her soul with Christ and be saved. We pray for the children and all the family, that they may be kept from temptation and from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and kept from lies and deception, and that they may know the peace of God which passeth all understanding as they make their requests known unto Him, Philippians 4:6-7.

May Divine Grace constrain each of you to listen to the still small voice of the Gospel, to search the Scriptures daily, to sit under faithful ministry, and to seek godly counsel seasoned with the wisdom of Isaiah 11:2. If God in His sovereignty grants a dream or vision, test it by the Word, but do not chase signs. Be content to hear Christ in the Word. There you will find all things that pertain unto life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, and there you will know that nothing shall be impossible with God, Luke 1:37, and that the things which are impossible with men are possible with God, Mark 10:27.

We commend you to Him who is the Amen, the faithful and true witness, Revelation 3:14, in whose name all the promises of God are yea and amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20. May the Lord grant you love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned, 1 Timothy 1:5, and keep you abiding in His love until He brings you to that blessed rest where the dead which die in the Lord rest from their labours.
