🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Open Our 👀 Use The Bible, Lk 24:45 📖 Messages from The Pulpit, Eph 1:17, Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel, Isa 11:2Visions while Awake⚡️Dreams 💤 at Sleep Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9, Leading of Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, The Shepherd's Voice, John 10:27...

LORD, we ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, and a light 🔦unto our path, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, 🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ⚡️ Dreams 💤 While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... 🧎🏽‍♂️Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.

We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband for himself, his wayward wife, children, family, extended family, ***prayer & ministry partners, church leaders, churches and team members -- You speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham you warned Abimelech to keep him from death, Gen 20:3.

Like Abraham, we are imperfect but growing, and we believe Your promises, in fact we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21, granting us everything we need for both life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on these named above, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your incomprehensible peace as promised, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20...

We join together with you in this deep cry for the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and speak to us, and we agree with you before the Father for this husband, his wayward wife, their children, family and extended family, and for all prayer and ministry partners and church leaders.

We love your heart to want God to speak by every biblical means He has ordained, and we pray with you that He would open our minds that we might understand the Scriptures, as it is written in Luke 24:45, Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures. We pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened, Eph 1:17-18, and for the Spirit of counsel and might and knowledge and the fear of the Lord to rest upon us, Isa 11:2. We ask that we would abide in Christ and His words abide in us, that whatever we ask according to His will He will do for us, John 15:7, and that we would abide in His love by keeping His commandments, John 15:10. Your word is a lamp to our feet, and a light for our path, Ps 119:105, and we agree that we must speak according to the law and the testimony, for if we do not speak according to this word, there is no dawn for us, Isa 8:20.

We also hear your burden for this marriage. We believe with you in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman before God, and we know God hates divorce, Mal 2:16. We pray for this husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her, Eph 5:25, with patient, enduring, faithful love, and for this wife who has wandered to be convicted and drawn back to the Lord and to her covenant vows. If there has been sexual sin outside the marriage, we gently but firmly say that God calls for repentance from fornication and adultery, for marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Heb 13:4, and we are called to flee sexual immorality, 1 Cor 6:18. We pray she would turn from any wrongdoing and pride and be preserved from the pit, and that God would restore what the enemy has sought to destroy, and that this family would be reconciled and made whole in Christ. We pray for the children who are caught in the middle, that the Lord would guard their hearts and keep them from confusion and bitterness.

We agree with your desire for God to lead His people, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Rom 8:14, and My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27. We thank God that He does speak, at times even through dreams and visions to warn and to turn a person from wrongdoing, as you quoted, For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed, then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man, Job 33:14-17, and we remember how God warned Abimelech in a dream, Gen 20:3, and Joseph and the wise men, Matt 1:20, Matt 2:12, and gave Paul a vision in the night, Acts 16:9. And we rejoice in the promise, It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions, Joel 2:28.

Yet in love we also counsel that we must test every spirit and every impression, vision or dream by the written Word of God, for Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and God’s voice will never contradict His Word. The safest and most ordinary way He speaks today is through Scripture rightly understood, through preaching from the pulpit, through divine appointments and godly counsel, and through the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit as we walk in obedience. We must not chase experiences above Christ and His Word, but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, Matt 6:33, with a pure heart and sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5.

We pray now together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You that You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and we come only through Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, John 14:6. Pour out Your Spirit upon this husband, his wife, their children and all who love them. Open their understanding to Your Word, grant repentance where repentance is needed, grant forgiveness and healing where wounds are deep, and grant warning dreams and visions if it pleases You, but above all grant a hunger for Your Word and obedience to it. Turn the wayward heart back, keep this husband steadfast in prayer and holiness, protect the children, and let Your will be done in this marriage as it is in heaven. Keep us all from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, guard us from deception and evil men, 2 Thess 3:2-3, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. We ask this believing You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, Eph 3:20, for with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27, and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted, Job 42:2. We trust You in advance and say Amen, for all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen to the glory of God through us, 2 Cor 1:20.

We hear the deep longing in your prayer to stay close to Jesus and to hear Him clearly, for yourself, your wife, your children and extended family, and for your church and ministry partners. Wanting to abide in Him and to have His wisdom for each step, above all the noise around you, is a humble and good desire, and we join you in it.

We love your heart to be led by the Holy Spirit in every way He chooses to lead, whether quietly through His Word, through a message, through godly counsel and divine appointments, or at times through a strong inner prompting, a dream or vision. In our walk we have found the Spirit's leading always holds together power, truth and love. He does not pull us away from what God has already said, but draws us deeper into knowing Christ and becoming more like Him.

A simple next step that often brings clarity when you are seeking direction is to keep bringing what you sense to the Lord in prayer and to a couple of trusted, mature believers who know you and your family well, so you can weigh impressions together with patience and in the light of Scripture, rather than carrying them alone.

Father, we lift this husband and his wife and children and all their loved ones to You. Draw each of them close to Jesus, keep them from evil and confusion, and give them wisdom, humility and unity as they seek You. Lead them step by step in Your will and guard them with Your peace as they abide in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing that the Holy Spirit should open the understanding, as it is written, Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, is itself a gracious sign that He is at work. For the Holy Spirit is the Author of all spiritual life. Until He visits us we are dead in trespasses and sins, and life does not lie latent in natural men for themselves to stir up. We must be quickened by Him, and sealed by Him unto the day of redemption.

You ask that He would speak to you by every ordinary and extraordinary means, by dreams and visions and prophecy. Hear what the Spirit Himself has taught us concerning His own work. He will receive of mine and shall shew it unto you. The testimony of the Spirit is always most honourable to our Lord Jesus Christ, and does not concern itself with the trifles of time and the follies of the flesh. The blessed Spirit glorifies Christ. He takes the veil away from our heart and then we see Christ. He deals with the things of Christ. Therefore we must try every impression, every dream, every supposed vision by the sure rule of God's Book and by the light of God's Spirit. Your prayer is right to say, To the law and to the testimony, and to ask that His Word may be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. That Word abiding in you, and you abiding in Him and in His love, is the appointed way in which the Shepherd's voice is heard, for His sheep hear His voice and follow Him, and they are sanctified and led by the Spirit in holiness.

There is something very touching in the admonition, Grieve not the holy Spirit of God. It does not say do not make Him angry, but grieve Him not, for He bears with us with a tender and loving grief. Pride and murmuring, rebellion, unbelief, obstinacy and self seeking grieve Him, for He dwells with those who are humble and of a contrite spirit. God's Holy Spirit and man's sin cannot live together peaceably and reign together. The Spirit lusteth against the flesh, and the flesh against the Spirit. Unless our faith makes us pine after holiness and pant after conformity to God, it is no better than the faith of devils. A holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit. Let us therefore cry aloud to Him, and purge from our churches and our homes everything that is contrary to His Word and to sound doctrine, that He may return in power.

You agree together concerning a husband, a wayward wife, children, family and extended family, prayer and ministry partners, church leaders and churches. We join you in that agreement, and we pray in the Holy Spirit, for that is indispensable. To pray in the Holy Spirit is to pray in His power and as He directs, for He knows what should be our petition. Without Him we utterly fail, and with Him the heaviest church is floated out to sea and that which was most inactive begins to move.

We pray then that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them, would manifest His saving power in this household. That the Holy Spirit would convince of sin and then comfort with the comfort wherewith there is no comforter like Him, bringing forth His fruit which is joy and peace and love and confidence and assurance.

For the husband, that he may be kept from grieving the Spirit, and may live in the Spirit and give himself up fully to His divine anointing, abiding in Christ and letting Christ's words abide in him, that whatsoever he shall ask according to the Father's will it shall be done.

For the wayward wife, that the Lord who warned Abimelech and who spoke to keep men from pride and to preserve them from the pit, would in mercy turn her from wrongdoing and keep her from pride, and preserve her life from perishing. That the Spirit who lusts against the flesh would not let sin reign quietly in her, but would grant repentance and a return to the covenant of marriage as God ordained it, one man and one woman in lifelong fidelity, wherein alone the union of husband and wife is honoured. We do not ask God to bless waywardness or sin, but to save from it, to wash and to sanctify through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

For the children and all the family, that they may be kept from temptation and from evil and from the evil one, from lies and deception and fear, and that the goal of our instruction may be seen among you, love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.

For your churches and leaders, that you may walk by the simple rule of God's Book and cease to grieve the Spirit, depending wholly upon Him, confessing before all that you rely upon Him and not upon the power of man.

We thank God that nothing shall be impossible with Him, that light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not, and that no purpose of His can be thwarted. We lay these requests before Him with thanksgiving, asking that the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and that you may be found praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, to the glory of Christ alone. Amen.
