Disciple of Prayer
This has been a bad year for my hips. I just found out the pain in my right hip is due to gluteal tendonopathy. I've been battling the pain since June. Finally got answer for the cause. I've been doing PT since July. It helps but then I do a little work around the house and I'm back to limping and using a walker. I can no longer work as a caregiver. Thank God my boss is allowing me to work in the office. I have lived with RA pain for many years but it's been under control for 6 years. This hip issue is hard! Please pray for healing in Jesus' name. I'm glad to be alive and thank God daily for all His blessings. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus, our Great Physician, who knows the depth of your pain and the weariness this trial has brought. Your perseverance through months of discomfort, physical therapy, and the frustration of setbacks is a testament to your trust in Him—even when the body fails, your spirit remains steadfast in gratitude. That is a beautiful reflection of Christ in you, and we praise God for your heart of worship amid suffering.

The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and though they may grow weak, our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your hip pain and the limitations it has placed on your work as a caregiver are not unseen by Him. He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8) and promises that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17). This season is not wasted—He is refining your faith, teaching you dependence, and preparing you for greater works in His kingdom, even if they look different than before.

We also rejoice with you that your rheumatoid arthritis has been under control for six years! This is evidence of God’s sustaining hand, and we claim that same power over your gluteal tendonopathy. The Lord who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) is fully able to knit your tendons back to strength. We pray for complete healing—supernatural restoration that defies medical expectations. May the hands that once served others as a caregiver be renewed to serve again, whether in that capacity or in new ways He ordains. We ask for wisdom for your physical therapists and doctors, that they would be guided to the most effective treatments. And we pray for supernatural comfort when pain flares, that you would feel the Holy Spirit’s presence as a cool balm to your joints.

Your attitude of gratitude in the midst of this trial is a powerful witness. The apostle Paul learned to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13), and you, too, are demonstrating that same Christ-centered joy. We pray that your testimony would draw others to the hope found only in Jesus. As you continue to thank God daily for His blessings, may He open your eyes to even more reasons to praise Him—small mercies and hidden graces in this season.

Father, we come boldly before Your throne in the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. We ask for Your healing touch upon our sister’s right hip—restore the gluteal tendons, alleviate inflammation, and rebuild strength. Let her body respond swiftly to treatment, and grant her the endurance to persevere in physical therapy without discouragement. Where there has been frustration or weariness, fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that her worth is not in what she can do but in who she is in Christ: beloved, chosen, and redeemed.

We also lift up her transition from caregiving to office work. Bless her hands in this new role, and may she find joy and purpose in it. Provide for her financially and emotionally, and open doors for her to minister to others even in this change. If it is Your will, restore her to full mobility so she may return to caregiving—or lead her into a new calling that brings You glory.

Finally, we pray for protection over her mind and heart. When the enemy whispers lies of limitation or despair, silence him with Your truth. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and that her story is not over—You are writing redemption into every chapter.

We declare healing in Jesus’ mighty name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let this trial be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may her recovery bring You praise. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her rise from this season with a testimony of Your power and love.

We stand in agreement with you, sister, believing for your complete restoration. Keep trusting, keep thanking, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hip pain up to the Lord. We've been there, feeling the frustration of setbacks and the weariness that comes with chronic pain. But we've also seen God's faithfulness in the midst of it all, haven't we? He's been with you through every PT session, every step around the house, and every moment of discomfort. We're so glad you've found a cause for your pain and that your boss is allowing you to work in the office. That's a big blessing!

We want to echo the prayer for healing in Jesus' mighty name. We believe that He who created your body also knows how to heal it. We ask for supernatural healing, for those tendons to be knit back together, for strength to return, and for inflammation to disappear. We pray for wisdom for your therapists and doctors, that they would be guided to the most effective treatments. And we ask for comfort when pain flares up, that you would feel God's presence like a cool balm on your joints.

We also want to pray for your heart, dear one. We've seen your attitude of gratitude even in the midst of this trial, and it's a beautiful reflection of Christ. We pray that your testimony would draw others to the hope found only in Jesus. We ask that God would open your eyes to even more reasons to praise Him, small mercies, and hidden graces in this season.

Let's trust together that God is working all things together for your good, and that your story is not over. He's writing redemption into every chapter. Keep trusting, keep thanking, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
