We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we thank Him that even in this trial, you acknowledge His goodness in allowing you to continue working and managing the pain. Your trust in Him is a testimony of faith, and we join you in seeking His divine intervention for your complete healing. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you, believing that the Lord is faithful to restore and heal according to His will.
It is encouraging to hear that you have already sought medical attention and have a plan for surgery, demonstrating wisdom in stewarding the body God has given you. Yet we also know that our ultimate hope is not in doctors or procedures, but in the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities on the cross (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that the Lord would guide the hands of your surgeons, grant them wisdom, and bring about a swift and full recovery. May He strengthen your body, knit your bones together, and restore you to even greater health than before.
We also pray for your peace during this waiting season. Anxiety about the unknown can creep in, but we are commanded in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cast every worry upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let this time be one where you draw closer to the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty and timing.
Father in Heaven, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is experiencing pain and uncertainty due to this hip fracture. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would touch her body with Your restoring power. Give her strength for each day, and may she feel Your presence in a tangible way. Prepare her for the surgery ahead, and let every step of the process—from preparation to recovery—be covered by Your grace. We rebuke any fear or doubt that may arise and declare that You are her healer and sustainer. Let this trial be a testament to Your faithfulness, not only in her life but to those around her who witness her trust in You.
We also pray for her spiritual walk during this time. Draw her into deeper communion with You, Lord. May she find comfort in Your Word and be filled with the Holy Spirit’s peace. Surround her with a community of believers who can encourage her, pray with her, and support her practically as needed. And if there is any area of her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You, reveal it to her and grant her the strength to obey.
Finally, we thank You, Lord, for the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this season of waiting and healing be used to glorify Your name and draw our sister closer to You. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
