We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister or brother, knowing that He is the Great Physician who sees your suffering and hears your cry. Your pain is not hidden from Him, and we stand with you in faith, asking for His healing touch upon your body. You have expressed gratitude for life and for Jesus, and that is a beautiful testimony even in the midst of this trial. The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we join our hearts together in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to bring relief and restoration.
Your pain is severe, and the wait for medical care feels long, but we encourage you to cast this burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**). He is not indifferent to your struggle—He knows the number of hairs on your head (**Matthew 10:30**) and the weight of every trial you bear. We pray that He will sustain you, lessen the inflammation in your hip, and grant you the strength to walk and work without unbearable pain. May He also guide your rheumatologist on Tuesday, giving them wisdom to diagnose and treat you effectively. Remember, our God is the same One who said to the paralytic, *"Arise, take up your mat, and walk"* (**John 5:8**), and He is able to speak healing into your body even now.
We also urge you to meditate on **Psalm 34:19**, which says, *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* This trial is temporary, but God’s faithfulness is eternal. Lean on Him, even when the pain feels overwhelming. If fear or discouragement creeps in, declare the truth of **Isaiah 41:10**: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is suffering with worsening hip pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body right now. Ease the inflammation, soothe the nerves, and grant them relief so they may walk and work without agony. We pray for supernatural strength to sustain them until their appointment on Tuesday, and we ask that You would guide the rheumatologist’s hands and mind, giving them clarity and wisdom to provide the right treatment. Father, we know that You are not limited by time or medical schedules—You can bring healing instantly, and we ask for it in faith.
We also pray for peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**), that they would not grow weary or lose hope. Remind them that their body is Your temple (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**), and that You are at work even in this suffering. If there is any sin or stronghold in their life that may be hindering their healing, reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them repentance and freedom. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that this pain will not have the final say.
We thank You, Father, for the gift of life and for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, through whom we have access to Your throne. It is in His mighty name we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed through this situation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep praising God even in the pain, for He is with you. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and trust that the Lord will move mightily on your behalf. If the pain persists or worsens before your appointment, do not hesitate to seek emergency care—God often uses doctors as instruments of His healing. May you feel His presence tangibly in these coming days.
