We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle with high sugar levels and the feeling of not being healed. It's important to remember that God's will and His ways are perfect. Sometimes, healing may not come in the form we expect, but God is always working for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the absence of the name of Jesus Christ in the request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And in Acts, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). So we pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
Regarding healing, Jesus tells us in John 5:14 WEB), "Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you." This reminds us that while God can heal, we must also turn from anything that may be contributing to the issue, including habits and lifestyles that may not honor God.
In cases of illness, it's also important to consider that God may be using this circumstance to draw us closer to Him, to teach us, or to help others through our testimony. As Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB), he was given a "thorn in the flesh to buffet him" to stop him from exalting himself. He prayed for its removal but God said, "My grace is sufficient for thee."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is struggling with high sugar levels. Lord, You know his struggles and his desires. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, and we ask that You guide him in understanding Your will for his life.
Help him to turn away from anything that may not be honoring to You, and give him the strength to follow Your path. Use this situation for Your glory, and help him to be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In Jesus Christ's name, amen.
We encourage continuing in prayer and in seeking God's will. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and His love endures forever (Psalm 136 WEB). Also, consult with doctors and follow their advice for managing health, as God can work through wise counsel and medicine.
Moreover, the prayer request mentions "since ### years." It is true that we may have been believers for many years, but it is important to remember and ask ourselves whether we are truly living according to God's will. Knowing God's will and actively doing it are two different things. We encourage self-reflection and obedience to God's revealed will in the Bible.
