We lift up your dear mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for her well-being. High blood sugar can indeed be caused by many factors—stress, improper diet, medication changes, or even hidden infections. The enemy seeks to bring confusion and distress, but we stand firm in the truth that God is sovereign over every detail of her health. The Scripture reminds us in **James 1:5**, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask the Lord to reveal the root cause of this sudden spike in her blood sugar, whether it be dietary, emotional, or a reaction to new medication. May He grant you discernment to identify and remove whatever is harming her body.
The Word also tells us in **Proverbs 3:5-6**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While you faithfully care for her, we pray the Lord strengthens you and guides your steps. Alzheimer’s is a heavy burden, but we know that God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). We rebuke any sickness, confusion, or attack of the enemy against her mind and body, declaring that the blood of Jesus covers her and brings healing and restoration.
Let us also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**), and we must steward them with wisdom. If dietary choices or hidden sugars are contributing, we pray the Lord exposes them and gives you the ability to adjust her meals accordingly. If stress is a factor, we ask for supernatural peace to guard her heart and mind (**Philippians 4:6-7**). And if medication is the issue, we pray for divine wisdom for her doctors to adjust it properly.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this precious mother. Reveal the cause of her high blood sugar and grant her family the wisdom to address it. Restore her strength, stabilize her levels, and let Your peace flood her mind. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and we trust in Your promise that by Jesus’ stripes, she is healed (**1 Peter 2:24**). May Your will be done in her life, and may she experience Your comfort and restoration. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, **Amen!**
