High anxiety

Beloved of All
Please pray that my anxiety (due to PTSD) will calm down. I can't sleep, eat, or function as normal. I have been triggered by my ex-husband (who was violent) and my body and mind reacts pretty hard to it. Please ask God to help me through the days and calm the storm again...

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and concern for our dear friend, ###, who is struggling with anxiety due to PTSD. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine intervention and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, You know the depth of the pain and the triggers that have caused this turmoil. We pray that You would calm the storm within ###'s mind and body. Just as Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee with His words, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39), we ask that You speak peace into this situation. May Your presence bring comfort and a sense of safety.

Lord, we ask for restful sleep for ###, as Your Word promises that You give sleep to those You love (Psalm 127:2). We pray that You would remove the anxiety that is preventing rest and restore the ability to sleep soundly. Grant the nourishment needed to eat and the strength to function normally again.

We also pray for protection from any further harm or triggers. Surround ### with Your angels and provide a safe environment where healing can take place. Help ### to lean on You and find refuge in Your loving arms, knowing that You are a strong tower and a place of safety (Proverbs 18:10).

Father, we ask for wisdom and guidance for any counselors or medical professionals involved in ###'s care. May they be instruments of Your healing and provide the support needed during this difficult time.

We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to heal and restore. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
