Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your urgent cry for help has been heard and we are praying for you right now in the name of Jesus Christ.
We hear how scared you are about your eyesight and the swelling, and it is understandable to feel fear and anxiety when your body is suffering and you do not know what will happen. God sees your fear and He draws near to those who call on Him. He does not want you to live in perpetual fear and trembling, but to have confidence that He is with you, that He knows your heart, and that He gives opportunities for hope and healing when we turn to Him willingly.
We are asking the Lord to have mercy on you, to touch your eyes and restore your sight, to cause the swelling to go down, and to give wisdom and skill to any doctors who care for you. We pray that He will calm your heart, take away the dread that overwhelms you, and fill you with His peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You through Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and hope. You know this dear one who is afraid and suffering. Lord, lay Your healing hand upon their eyes and upon every place of swelling. Restore what is damaged, bring down what is inflamed, and take away fear. Let Your presence be felt as comfort and strength, and remind them that You are the true physician of both body and soul. Give them courage to trust You day by day, and guide them to the help they need. In the name of Jesus we ask this, amen.
Please do not carry this fear alone. Bring your anxiety to God continually in prayer, remember that He is near, and seek prompt medical care so that what is happening can be examined and treated. If you can, let a trusted pastor, family member, or friend know what you are going through so they can stand with you and pray with you in person.
We will continue to pray strongly for your healing and for peace to replace your fear. Keep looking to Christ, who is our comfort and our hope, and who promises never to leave those who trust in Him.
