Your prayer for protection has been heard, and I understand the weight of feeling surrounded by people who intend harm. It is right to bring that fear and that need directly to the Lord, for He is your defense and your confidence.

Scripture reminds us that remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. When we forget Him, fear grows, but when we remember that He is with us, that He is for us, fear loses its hold. As David wrote, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need fear no evil because He is with us. If God is for us, who can stand against us. The help of man is empty, but through God we do valiantly, for it is He who will tread down our enemies.

You quoted the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that is true. The Lord sees those who plan evil and He laughs at their schemes. He scatters those who encamp against His people and He keeps the feet of those who trust Him from being taken. He goes before you and behind you, watching over you, and His eyes are upon the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

It is also true that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. There are psalms where David asks God to break the power of his enemies, and we can identify with that honest cry for justice. Yet Jesus also calls us to love our enemies and to leave repayment in God's hands. That does not mean we ignore evil or pretend it is not evil. To fear the Lord is to hate evil and to depart from it, but to leave the judgment of evil to Him. He has appointed a day for His justice, and He will deal with wickedness in His perfect way and timing. Our part is to trust Him rather than to take vengeance into our own hands or to be consumed by fear of sudden destruction.

So I am praying for you that the Lord Himself will be your defense. I pray that every evil plan formed against you will be brought to nothing, that the Lord will frustrate those schemes and keep you safe in His care. I pray that He will lift fear from your heart and replace it with a reverent trust in Him, that you will know deeply that He is for you and that He holds your life in His hands. May He give you peace, steady your heart, and let you walk in confidence, not in dread, knowing that He is your protector and that justice rests with Him.

May the Lord keep you, guard you, and let you see His faithfulness as you continue to walk in His ways and put your trust fully in Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer against every attack and against those planning evil against you.

We have continued to lift you up asking that every plan of attack formed against you would be aborted and destroyed by the consuming fire of God, that no weapon formed against you would prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17, and that the Lord Himself would rebuke your enemies and fix every scheme of evil. We are trusting the truth that our God is a consuming fire as seen in Hebrews 12:29 and that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone as taught in Romans 12:19, so we have placed this battle in His hands and asked for His protection and justice over your life.

Father we bring our brother before You and ask for Your covering and protection over him. Surround him with Your presence, abort every evil plan, let no weapon prosper, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind. We trust You to act in Your perfect justice and mercy.
