As fear and uncertainty grow louder, quiet the noise so that We may hear your voice.Lord, through every trial and hardship, you are good. We join with you in lifting up your family before the Father and we are encouraged by your open hands and open heart before Him in this season of struggle. It is good to come to Him honestly when fear and uncertainty grow loud, asking Him to quiet the noise so we may hear His voice, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We hear your heart crying out for wisdom, guidance, peace and patience, and for surrender to His will. You prayed that not your will but His be done, and that is the very heart of true surrender that Jesus modeled for us. We gently encourage you to continue to pray it clearly as not our will but Yours be done, for His plans are far better than our own even when the outcome does not go our way.

Scripture reminds us of these truths and we cling to them together with you. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. In Isaiah 41:10 He says do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in James 1:5 we are promised if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We also rejoice that you quoted John 10:10 that Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. That abundant life is not the absence of trials, but His presence and provision through them. Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. And Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

You asked if you should keep praying this every day, and we encourage you with all our hearts to do so. God delights in our persistent, daily coming to Him. We are taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing and in Luke 18:1 that we ought always to pray and not to lose heart. Daily surrender, daily asking for strength to endure, for faith bigger than fear, and for eyes to see His mighty hand at work, keeps our hearts aligned with His will and reminds us that He is our refuge. Psalm 46:1 declares God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus and we lift up this family to You. You see the weight of this season and every fear and uncertainty they carry. Quiet the noise around them and within them so they may clearly hear Your voice. Pour out Your wisdom and guidance, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and Your patience as they wait on You. Help them to surrender control fully and to trust that not their will but Yours be done. Grant them understanding when answers look different than they hoped, and open their eyes daily to Your provision. Give them strength to endure what is yet to come. When doubt rises, show them Your mighty hand at work. When they are scared, grow their faith far bigger than their fear. When they are disheartened, draw them to seek You in the pain, and when it feels like too much, let Your nearness be tangibly felt. Thank You for every moment You have carried them to this day and for the abundant life You give through Jesus. May all glory be Yours as You guide and direct their steps. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Keep seeking Him daily, keep bringing these same requests before Him with thanksgiving, and let His Word dwell richly in you as you wait on His good and perfect will.

Wanting to quiet the noise to hear God's voice is a faithful longing. That tug you describe between trusting His goodness and feeling overwhelmed is something many families walk through, and it makes sense that your mind and heart would feel tired when you're carrying so much.

It is a good gift that you want to keep bringing this prayer before the Lord each day. If it helps, you might keep praying it together as you are, perhaps choosing one line each morning to carry with you and noticing together one small way you saw His care that day, whether that is strength to get through the next hour or peace in a hard conversation. Staying connected with a trusted pastor or a couple of faithful friends who know your family by name can also help you not carry this alone.

Father, we lift this family to You today. Quiet what is loud around them and within them, and draw near with Your presence. Give them wisdom for each decision, patience for each day, and strength to keep looking to You when answers are unclear. Your prayer has been heard and it is a good and needful prayer to bring before the Lord. You describe what many of the saints have known, a heart where fear and faith meet together. As with Jacob of old, there were two hosts within, nature and grace, belief and unbelief, fear and faith battling together in the soul. Do not be dismayed that you feel this mixture, for even a struggling faith is true faith when it rests upon the promise of God. You say, I fear, yet you also say, You said, and that is faith laying hold of His word.

You ask whether to keep praying this every day. Pray on, and never give up struggling. The disciples themselves cried, Lord, increase our faith, and that prayer confesses you have faith already, or you would not ask at all. It is with faith that we ask for more faith. Little faith is still precious faith, for the least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and belongs to the family of the saved. Let your fear put wings to your heels to fly to Jesus. Faith was the living principle in Noah, but fear was the moving power that drove him to obedience, and so let your fear move you to the ark of safety which is Christ.

You have prayed well, that not your will but His be done. This is unconditional surrender to your Father's good pleasure, the true surrender of every proud claim. Will you surrender at discretion to His method and His timing, even when the outcome does not go your way. His plans are far better than your own, and He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him, because he trusts in Him. That peace is not the absence of thronging duties or surging sorrows, but peace within, because the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

When you are afraid, then is the time to trust the Lord. Fear and faith may go hand in hand together for a while, till at last perfect love shall come and fear shall be expelled. Till then, let fear drive you closer to your Lord. He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, fear not, I will help you. It would be disobedience to remain in fear when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not.

So continue daily. Bring this same prayer before the throne of grace each morning and evening. Ask for wisdom and guidance, for peace and patience, for strength to endure and for eyes to see His provision. And hear the answer of faith to the question of fear, Will He plead against me with His great power. No, but He will put strength in you.

We join our faith with yours now, praying that the Lord will increase your faith, quiet the noise about you that you may hear His voice, grow your faith bigger than your fear, and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Christ. May He show you His mighty hand at work, guide you to seek Him in the pain, and let His presence feel near when it feels like too much. All this we ask in the name of Jesus, through whom alone is salvation and life to the full, to whom be all glory. Amen.

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving, and it is good that you come before the Father with open hands and an open heart for your family. The Lord hears those who seek Him in truth, and He draws near to those who surrender control and ask for His will to be done rather than their own.

The struggles you describe, the fear and uncertainty and the noise of this season, are common to all who walk through trial. Do not be troubled that you feel them. The work of faith is not to feel no fear, but to let faith grow larger than fear, to let the root go deeper. As an oak that sends its root into the lower recesses of the earth cannot be torn up by the wind, so a soul that is fixed by the fear of God and rooted in His word endures. Endurance is produced when the doctrines of truth are deeply planted within, and then no assault easily overturns the heart.

You ask whether to keep praying this every day. Yes, persevere. Continue daily to ask for wisdom and guidance, for peace and patience, for strength to endure what is yet to come. Prayer is not repetition for its own sake, but a continual turning of the heart toward God, a daily seeking of His presence until His peace, which is the bond of all good things, guards you. Even when the outcome does not go as you wish, keep asking for understanding, remembering that His plans are far better than our own and that He withholds no good thing from those who walk with Him.

When you are full of doubt, ask Him to show you His mighty hand at work. When you are scared, ask Him to increase your faith. When you are disheartened, seek Him in the pain and do not hastily demand deliverance, but bear all occurrences with courage, trusting that He comes to His people even in the darkest watch of the night. He came that you may have life and have it to the full, and that life is found in walking with Christ, in hearing His voice above the noise, and in resting in His provision day by day.

May the Lord grant to you and to your household quietness of heart, clarity to hear His voice, and grace to surrender all to Him. May He make His presence near when the burden feels too heavy, and may all the glory be His for every moment He has carried you to this day.
