We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the ### family in this time of distress. It is clear that there is deep pain, fear, and a sense of being under spiritual and perhaps even physical attack. We stand with you in prayer, but we must also speak truth in love, guided by Scripture.
First, we must address the tone of this request. While we understand the hurt and frustration, the Bible instructs us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* Asking God to bring troubles upon others, even those who have wronged us, is not aligned with the heart of Christ. Instead, we should pray for their repentance, transformation, and for God’s justice to prevail in a way that brings glory to Him.
We also want to gently remind you that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to demand that God act in a specific way against others, but rather to trust in His perfect justice and timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
Now, let us pray for the ### family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up the ### family to You, asking for Your divine protection, peace, and wisdom. Lord, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Father, and shield them from harm, fear, and division.
Lord, we ask for Your intervention in the lives of those who are causing trouble. Soften their hearts, Father, and open their eyes to the truth of Your love and grace. If there is unrepentant sin in their lives, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. We pray that You would work in their lives in a way that brings them to You, rather than seeking to harm others.
Father, we ask for Your peace to fill the ### home. Replace anxiety with trust, fear with faith, and strife with unity. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and help them to stand firm in Your truth. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the wisdom to navigate this situation with grace, humility, and a spirit of forgiveness.
We also pray for restoration and healing in all areas of their lives. If there has been division or brokenness, mend what has been torn apart. Bring reconciliation where it is possible and glorifying to You, and give them the strength to set boundaries where necessary for their protection and well-being.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty. You see all things, and You know the hearts of every person involved. We ask that You would move in this situation according to Your perfect will, bringing about Your purposes and Your glory. Help the ### family to keep their eyes fixed on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We declare that the ### family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and fear in the name of Jesus, and we command it to flee. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly in their lives, drawing others to You.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
To the ### family, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise (Psalm 22:3). Surround yourselves with godly counsel and community—do not face this battle alone. Remember, *"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1).
If there are specific ways in which this conflict is manifesting—whether through slander, legal battles, or other forms of opposition—we encourage you to respond with integrity, wisdom, and a commitment to honor God in all things. Proverbs 15:1 says, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Let your words and actions reflect the love and grace of Christ, even in the face of adversity.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your ultimate hope is not in the resolution of this conflict alone, but in the eternal hope we have in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your lives fully to Him, trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience to His Word. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.
