We hear your heart in this and we join with you in bringing this need before the Lord, asking for His help and intervention where there seems to be misunderstanding and lack of cooperation.
We know how frustrating and worrying it can be to wait for what is rightfully owed to you, especially when you feel others do not understand the urgency of your situation. We want to encourage you to cast this burden on Him and trust Him to work on the hearts of those involved and to provide for you even while you wait. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6 that we should in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And we cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also take comfort that God sees every transaction and calls all to act with honesty and justice, for Proverbs 11:1 tells us a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. We pray those you are dealing with will be moved to act fairly and promptly, and that the Lord will give you favor and clear communication as you seek what is due.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up this need to You. You see the frustration and the waiting, and You know the details of this refund and the cooperation that is needed. We ask that You soften the hearts and open the understanding of those who hold what belongs to our dear one here, that they would act with integrity, clarity and swiftness. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart while waiting, as You promise in Philippians 4:7, and for Your provision to be evident each day. Help us to trust You and to commit our way to You, believing Psalm 37:5 that when we commit our way to Yahweh and trust in Him, He will do this. Your urgent cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf. There is a holy urgency in your words, and we are glad to hear it, for when the soul feels its need deeply it learns to plead as the Psalmist did, Make haste unto me, O God, O Lord, make no tarrying.
We do not serve a Saviour who deals in pretended needs or sentimental griefs. Jesus deals with actual evils whose cure is urgent, and He is most practical to help His people in their real troubles. In matters of provision, of dealings with others, of waiting for what is justly due, He sees the pressure you are under and He knows the cooperation you require from those who do not yet understand.
Take hold then with the two hands of faith as the Psalmist did and say, Thou art my help and Thou art my deliverer. When you cannot go on without His interposition, that is the very moment to grasp the covenant angel and not let Him go. Your need may press you, but it also presses you close to Christ, and that is never in vain.
We have prayed that the Lord in His wisdom would incline the hearts of those with whom you are dealing toward fairness and understanding, that He would hasten what is right concerning this refund, and that He would give you patience and peace while you wait upon His timing. Above all we have asked that He would show Himself your present help, supplying all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and keeping your heart stayed upon Him who never tarries beyond what is best.
