Please pray that God will ease and take away any pain my cat ### is in. This is her last week. She went downhill very quickly. We are hoping to get her to Saturday and have someone come to the house to put her to sleep. But she is in bad bad shape. I just want to give her one more week of sitting outside with me in the sun watching the buffalo neighbors cows that she's obsessed with. I also don't want her to be pain. Please pray that God will help her and give me the strength to get through this. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers and help us. Thankyou. In Jesus name I ask of all these things and in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We join with you in this very tender and painful week and we hear the depth of your love for your precious cat and your desperate cries for mercy and comfort. We thank you for bringing all of this before the Lord in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth Psalm 145:18.

We see your heart to be a faithful steward of the life God has entrusted to you. The Scripture tells us A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and also that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without your Father Matthew 10:29, which reminds us how much our Creator cares for His creation and how much more He cares for you in this grief. Your desire to give her one more week of sitting outside in the sun watching the cows she loves is such a beautiful picture of your devotion to her, and we also hear your selfless prayer that you do not want her to be in pain.

We want to gently encourage you with wisdom and mercy in these final days. It is natural to want to hold on for one more week of cherished moments, and it is also holy to show mercy by not prolonging suffering. We pray that God will give you clear discernment together with your veterinarian about pain management and timing, so that your love for her is shown both in treasuring these last days and in releasing her from pain when the time is right. We pray that you will not carry guilt either way, but will rest in knowing the Lord sees your compassion and your care for her to the very end.

We are also praying for your strength as you walk through this loss, for grief over a beloved companion is real and deep. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. He promises Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. When your heart is overwhelmed, He will lead you to the rock that is higher than you Psalm 61:2.

We now pray together for you and your dear cat.

Father in heaven, we come before you together in Jesus name and we lift up this beloved cat to you. You know her by heart, you formed every living creature and you see her suffering. We ask in your mercy that you would ease her pain and grant her peace and comfort in these final days. If it is your will, allow her to have some gentle, pain eased moments outside in the sun in the quiet way she loves, and let her feel safe and deeply loved in her home. We ask for your wisdom and peace to rest upon her owner as difficult decisions are made, that every choice would be guided by love and mercy and not by fear. Lord, hear every desperate cry and prayer that has been poured out, for you promise The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Give strength for each day, comfort in the nights, and the assurance that you are near and that you will carry this burden. Let your presence be felt in the house and outside in the sun, and in time bring healing to this grieving heart. We trust all of this into your loving hands and we thank you that you hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We have been thinking of you and ### since reading your note. It is clear how tenderly you have loved her, and how much those quiet moments outside in the sun watching the neighbors cows mean to both of you.

Wanting one more week together while also not wanting her to hurt at all is such a painful place to be. That tug you feel is love wanting to hold on and love wanting to protect her from suffering. Both are good and both make this week so heavy.

As you wait for Saturday, we encourage you to stay in close contact with your veterinarian about her comfort. If you see changes in her pain, breathing, or ability to rest, a quick call can help you know what will ease her most and whether your plan is still the kindest one. You do not have to figure that alone. It can also help to let a trusted friend or family member know how you are doing day by day, so you have support both now and in the days after.

We are holding you both in prayer.

Father, we bring ### to You and ask for Your mercy and gentle care over her in these days. Ease her pain as only You can, and give her peace and rest. Give her owner strength for each day, comfort in grief, and wisdom for every decision ahead. Hear these cries and hold them close. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Yes, Lord, strengthen this one to endure -- also we ask relief for the cat... We promise no matter what we know You will work this together for good, Rom 8:28, so we will lean on You by grace through this time and Lord willing, may a new kitten take the place but not the good memories, in Jesus' Name

Your tender care for this dear creature has moved my heart, and I have carried your sorrow before the throne of grace. To watch one whom you have loved and tended grow weak so quickly, and to feel the weight of these last days, is a true affliction, and the Lord knows the aching of your heart.

Be comforted, for He who bids us to comfort His people still speaks, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. You have asked for strength to bear this trial, and this is a prayer He delights to answer. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When the duty before you seems beyond the strength of nature, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength, and He will bear you over it. And He will keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him. Even with sorrows surging round, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be yours now, not only when the struggle ceases.

The Lord cares for all His creatures, and not a sparrow falls without His eye, how much more does He see your compassion and your tears. I pray that He will in His mercy ease any pain your dear cat endures, that He will grant her quietness and rest, and spare her from cruel suffering. If it be His will to grant you those few more days of sitting together in the sun to watch the cattle in the field, we thank Him for that gentle mercy, yet we ask above all that His compassion would rule, that she would not be made to linger in distress, and that He would give you clear wisdom and a calm heart in the solemn decision that lies before you on Saturday.

I pray also for you, that God would hear your desperate cries and pleas, for He does hear. He will ordain peace for you, and work in you all that is needed for this hour. May His Word quicken you and be your comfort in this affliction, and may you find that to do His will, even in this sorrow, is rest. May you trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, look upon this weary heart. Ease the pain of this creature according to Thy mercy, grant grace and tenderness to these final days, and renew the strength of Thy child who waits upon Thee. Keep the mind stayed upon Thee in perfect peace, and let Thy comfort sustain through this valley. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
