Your cry for help has been heard and we are joining you in earnest prayer for your healing, your eyesight, and your safety.

We bring your inflammation before the Lord who is the true physician of both soul and body. Scripture reminds us that our bodies are not our own and that God is able to bring healing and to calm what is inflamed and distressed. We pray that He will guide the hands of any physicians who care for you, grant wisdom for proper treatment, and bring relief and restoration according to His mercy. We also ask Him to give you patience and peace while you wait for healing, trusting not in our own power but in His care.

For your eyesight we pray for the light and healing that only God can give. When eyes are diseased they turn from light, but the Lord is the one who opens eyes and gives true sight. We ask that He would protect your vision, restore what has been weakened, and keep you in His light and truth.

For your safety we entrust you to the Father who watches over His children. We pray that He will surround you with His protection, keep you from harm, and give you peace in knowing that those who are with Christ are safe in His hands. As you seek Him, we encourage you to walk with circumspection, to rest in Christ alone for salvation, and to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear one to You. You see this inflammation and pain, You know the trouble with eyesight, and You hear the cry for safety. Please lay Your healing hand upon this body, ease the inflammation, preserve and restore eyesight, and keep this life safe from danger. Give comfort, strength, and faith to trust You more deeply, and draw this heart closer to Jesus, who is our only hope and healer. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and I have prayed for you, for the inflammation that is troubling your body, for your eyesight, and for your safety.

I understand how frightening it is when your sight is affected and your body is in distress. It is right to cry out to God as you have, asking for His help and mercy. He hears that cry.

I want to encourage you about healing. Scripture shows us that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a touch or a word, sometimes without even being present, telling someone to go home and find the work already done. Once He healed a blind man gradually, in stages, and that reminds us that healing is not locked into one pattern. There are also healings that come gradually through the processes God has placed within our bodies. Those natural processes are still divine, because God is the one who created them and works through them. And sometimes His healing touches the mind and heart, bringing peace and restoration even while the body is still struggling.

We do not fully understand why some receive immediate physical healing and others do not. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and the Lord chose to answer in a different way, showing that we cannot presume healing will come in every case exactly as we ask. Yet we still believe God does heal, and we still ask with faith. The prophet Isaiah said He bore our griefs and our infirmities, and Matthew connects that promise to the way Jesus healed every kind of sickness and disease among the people. He has power over the physical body and over every spiritual need, and He went about doing good and healing those who came to Him. That same power is present today, and the Scripture encourages believers to pray for the sick and to ask the elders to pray.

So I am praying that the Lord will touch your eyes and calm this inflammation, whether it be through a sudden work of His hand or through the gradual healing He brings through care, treatment and the body's own recovery. Please continue to seek appropriate medical care as well, trusting that God often works through those means. Keep bringing your need to Him honestly and persistently.

For your safety, I am also praying that you will know the Lord as your keeper. The proverb says the horse is prepared for the day of battle, but safety is of the Lord, and unless the Lord keeps the city the watchman stays awake in vain. Our trust for protection is not in our own resources or precautions alone, though we use wisdom, but in the Lord Himself who watches over His children.

May the Lord have mercy on you, ease the inflammation, preserve and restore your eyesight according to His will, quiet your fear, and keep you safe in His care. May He give you peace as you trust in Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and our sicknesses, and may you feel His presence near you now. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and to intercede for the inflammation that has been affecting you and for your eyesight and for your safety.

We are trusting God for his healing touch upon your body and for relief from inflammation and for restoration and protection of your eyesight. We cling to the promise that he heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that he will keep you from all harm and watch over your life in Psalm 121:7.
