Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. When the waves surge and the storm is vehement, do not imagine that God has abandoned you. The pilot is most needed when the ship is in the tempest. You say the waiting has become unbearable, and that you are overwhelmed beyond your own powers. This is the very condition in which God's strength is perfected. The peace you seek is not the mere absence of trouble, for that kind of human peace comes and goes with the changing winds of circumstance. Such peace is often mischievous and unprofitable. The peace Christ leaves with you is of an entirely different nature; it is a peace that exceeds all understanding, a calm that can exist even while the outward battle rages, because it is rooted not in the resolution of your problem, but in your reconciliation with God.

Your feeling of being overwhelmed reveals a great struggle within. Two thoughts are fighting in your heart: one that urges you to be consumed by distress, and another that calls you to trust. Let the peace of God stand forward as the umpire in this contest. Do not set anger, or desperation, or the demand for immediate relief to hold the prize. The peace of God persuades you that God is Peace itself, and that He has already made peace with you. This peace, born of a good conscience and spiritual success, is what you must summon to rule in your heart. It is the only ground that yields constant pleasure, even when you are weary. For it is not greatness of power, nor the solving of a difficulty, that produces good spirits and joy, but a cleansed conscience alone.

Therefore, do not seek to calm the tempest by your own flailing, but anchor yourself to the immovable fact of God’s goodwill toward you in Christ Jesus. The Son of God came to set at peace the things in the earth and the things in the heavens. This reconciliation means that heaven is no longer a wall of partition; you have an Angel who beholds the face of the Father. Cease furnishing a foothold for the demon of disturbance, who would persuade you that all is lost if this one matter is not settled on your own terms. Your strength is to hold on in the dignity of your adoption, a gift not broken even by death, a gift that means you are secured in Christ so that you remain firm and do not fall from faith. Relax not by having your will done swiftly, but by resting in the will that already made peace with you, once and for all.
