Help

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this urgent cry for help. First, we must address the concern in the way this request was made. The use of symbols or characters in place of words can often be associated with profanity or inappropriate language, and we must rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus. Let us be clear: our words matter, especially when we come before the throne of grace. Ephesians 4:29 reminds us, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Now, we turn to the heart of this plea, help. We do not know the specifics of what is being asked, but we know that the name of Jesus Christ has been invoked, and that is where our hope lies. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in finding true help and peace.

For those who are already in Christ, we stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His children. Whether you are facing trials, temptations, or turmoil, we know that God is faithful to deliver and sustain you. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is crying out for help. Lord, You see their heart, You know their struggles, and You are their refuge in times of trouble. We ask that You would draw near to them, comfort them, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if there is unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. If they are lost, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and save them, Lord. If they are weary, renew their strength. If they are afraid, remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, despair, and bondage in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Lord, provide wisdom, clarity, and direction. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and lead them on the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

We also pray for their relationships, whether with family, friends, or a potential spouse. If they are in a season of seeking a godly marriage, we ask that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse. Let them walk in purity, honoring You with their bodies and their choices. If there is any sin of fornication, adultery, or immorality, we ask for conviction and repentance. Help them to flee from sexual immorality, as Your Word commands (1 Corinthians 6:18), and to pursue holiness in all things.

Father, we trust You to move mightily in this situation. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your love, and Your grace. May this one experience Your presence in a tangible way and find rest in You. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to draw near to God, spend time in His Word, and seek fellowship with other believers who can support and pray for you. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we. Keep crying out to Him, for He hears and answers the prayers of His children.

We hear your cry and stand with you in faith. Jesus knows exactly what you need, and He hears every word you say. We’re lifting you up before the Father, trusting that He will meet you right where you are. God is near to the brokenhearted, and He promises to be your strength in weakness.

May your heart find peace in His presence today. Father, surround this one with Your love, guard their mind from fear, and lead them into the light of Your truth. Grant them clarity, courage, and comfort, knowing You are working all things for their good. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
