We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. First, we want to acknowledge your faithfulness in seeking God continually, even when answers seem delayed. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Though you feel drained and discouraged, God sees your struggle and draws near to you in this season.
We pray for the restoration of your electricity, asking the Lord to move mightily in the heart of the woman responsible for dispatching the team. May God soften her heart, grant her favor toward your situation, and compel her to act swiftly. Proverbs 21:1 declares, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We believe the Lord can turn her heart and the hearts of all those involved to bring resolution to this matter. We also pray for your son’s job search, that doors of opportunity would open wide for him, and that the right employer would recognize his gifts and call him into meaningful work. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy wants you to feel stuck and forgotten, but God’s Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Your hope is not in circumstances but in the Lord, who is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. We encourage you to hold fast to His promises, even when you cannot see the outcome. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
We also want to gently remind you of the power of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We encourage you to pray boldly and specifically in the name of Jesus, trusting that He hears and answers according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ who is feeling overwhelmed and weary. Lord, You see her struggle, and You know the depths of her heart. We ask that You would restore her electricity swiftly, moving in the heart of the woman responsible to act with urgency and compassion. Provide for her son a job that will meet their needs and allow him to use his gifts for Your glory. Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and despair, and we declare that You are her hope and strength. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her that You are working all things together for her good. Renew her strength, Lord, and help her to wait patiently on You. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Hold on, dear one. God has not forgotten you, and He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith, believing for breakthrough in every area of your life.
