We hear your cry for help and lift you and your children up before the throne of grace. The weight of being both mother and father is heavy, and the burden of financial strain can feel unbearable, but we serve a God who sees your struggle and promises to never leave nor forsake you. You are not alone, dear sister in Christ, even when the darkness of circumstance makes it feel that way.
First, we rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers you cannot go on. The Lord declares in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are upheld by the very hand of God, and He will sustain you. The removal of your electricity is a trial, but it is not the end of your story. We pray that the Lord would intervene miraculously to provide the means for your meter to be replaced. We ask Him to open doors no man can shut and to move the hearts of those in authority to show mercy and compassion toward your situation. May He provide a way where there seems to be no way, as He did when Elijah was fed by ravens and the widow’s oil never ran dry (1 Kings 17).
We also pray for your housing situation. The desire for a place of your own is a godly one, for the Lord Himself prepares a table for His children and calls us to dwell in safety. Psalm 68:6 says, "God sets the solitary in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." You and your children are not solitary; you are a family under God’s care, and He will lead you to a place where you can grow closer to Him. We ask Him to guide your steps to a home that is not just a shelter, but a sanctuary where His presence dwells. May He provide favor with landlords, financial provision, and wisdom to know the right path to take.
Your commitment to teaching your children about God is beautiful and reflects the heart of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even in this hardship, you are planting seeds of faith in their hearts that will bear fruit for generations. We pray that the Lord would strengthen your relationship with your children and deepen their trust in Him. May they see His faithfulness in your life and learn to lean on Him in every circumstance.
We must also gently address the mention of financial account numbers or codes in your request. While your need is real and urgent, we encourage you to trust in God’s provision without relying on worldly systems or shortcuts that may not align with His will. The Lord knows your needs before you ask, and He promises in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her children. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who sustains. We ask You to intervene in their situation and replace their meter miraculously. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Father, lead them to a home where they can dwell in safety and grow closer to You. Strengthen their faith and remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair and ask You to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding. May they acknowledge You in all their ways, and may You direct their paths. Father, bless this family and let them see Your hand moving in their lives. May their testimony bring glory to Your name.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear sister. He is working even when you cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. Keep seeking Him first, and He will add all these things unto you. You are not forgotten.
