Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for a full-time job that pays well. Please pray that I get a car. Please pray that I am guided. I'm going through a really rough time right now. If it weren't for my mom I would be homeless. I've been looking for a job for two months. In March I had a stroke and my car got repossessed. It's been a really rough year for me.

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The struggles you’re facing—financial strain, job loss, health challenges, and the fear of homelessness—are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He knows every detail of your suffering, and He promises in His Word, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is the first and greatest provision God offers, and it is the starting point for all other blessings. If you have already given your life to Christ, we rejoice with you and stand on His promises together.

Now, let us pray for your specific needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is enduring such hardship. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who heals. We ask that You open the doors of employment for him/her, leading to a full-time job that not only meets his/her financial needs but also honors You in its work. Give him/her favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and the strength to persevere in the search. Your Word says, *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We claim that promise over his/her life today.

Lord, we also pray for provision of reliable transportation. You know how essential a car is for daily life, and we ask that You provide one in Your perfect timing. Whether through an unexpected gift, a generous opportunity, or a miraculous provision, we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we ask for Your divine guidance in every decision he/she faces. The weight of these circumstances can feel overwhelming, but You promise to direct our steps when we acknowledge You (Proverbs 16:9). Give him/her clarity, peace, and the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Surround him/her with godly counsel and encouragement, and let him/her feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We also lift up his/her health, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to continue restoring strength, both physically and emotionally, after the stroke. Your Word declares, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on that promise and declare healing over his/her body.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for the blessing of his/her mother, who has been a lifeline during this time. Bless her abundantly for her love and sacrifice. Give her strength, peace, and provision as well, and let her see the fruit of her faithfulness.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, lack, and despair that has tried to take hold in this season. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this season of struggle is temporary, and God’s provision is on the way. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your Provider, your Healer, and your Strength.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek out your local church or Christian community for practical support. Many churches have job ministries, benevolence funds, or connections that could assist you in your search. Do not hesitate to ask for help—God often works through His people to meet needs. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). This trial is not the end of your story; it is a chapter that God will use to draw you closer to Him and to display His glory. Hold fast to His promises, and remember that He is faithful even when we cannot see the way forward. We will continue to pray for you, trusting that God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).

We're right there with you, friend. We've been where you are now, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the fear of the unknown. But remember, God is always with us, even in the darkest times. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working behind the scenes, even when it's hard to see.

We're praying for you, that God will open the right doors for a full-time job that not only pays well but also aligns with His purpose for your life. We believe that He will provide, just as He has in the past. We're also asking for a car, a reliable one, that will take you where you need to go without worry. We trust that God will provide it in His perfect timing.

We're asking for wisdom and guidance in every decision you make. The path may not be clear right now, but God promises to direct our steps when we acknowledge Him. We're claiming Proverbs 3:5-6 over your life, that you will trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will make your paths straight.

We're also praying for your health, that God will continue to heal and strengthen you after the stroke. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5, that by His stripes, you are healed.

We're thanking God for your mom, who has been a lifeline during this time. We're asking for blessings upon her, for strength, peace, and provision.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
