The Lord reminds us in James 1:17, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow."* Your gratitude honors Him, and we pray that He continues to open your eyes to the abundance of His goodness, even in the small and ordinary moments.
You ask for the safety, success, and satisfaction of your children. These are godly desires, and we claim the promise of Proverbs 22:6 over them: *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We pray that your children walk in the fear of the Lord, that they seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), and that they find their satisfaction in Christ alone. If it is His plan for you to foster or adopt, we ask that He prepare your heart and home for this sacred calling. *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction"* (James 1:27). Foster care is a profound way to reflect God’s heart for the vulnerable, and we pray for wisdom as you consider whether this is the path He is leading you toward. If He opens this door, we ask that He provide the resources, strength, and support you need to upgrade your home and to love these children as He would.
