We rejoice with you that you have brought your requests to God in Jesus' name, for it is only through faith in the name of Jesus Christ we can be saved. Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us give thanks for the guidance He has provided thus far and trust that He will continue to direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you prepare for your presentation dinner, be assured that the Holy Spirit can give you the words to speak and connect with others in your community. Luke 12:12 "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say." We also pray for self-control and discipline to exercise and eat right, 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
We join you in praying for success at work and that God would provide opportunities for you to bless others through your work. Matthew 25:40 "The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’" It is heartening to see that you desire to help more patients through your work.
We also lift up your request for a new job opportunity. Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,".
Regarding your move, we ask God to provide a clear path and the resources to make it as smooth as possible. Philippians 4:19 "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Answer all your requests according to His will and in Jesus' name.
Please remember the Apostle Paul, as he was able to endure so much because he had a calling and a purpose in Christ. Philippians 1:12 "Now I want you to know, brothers, that the things which happened to me have turned out rather to the progress of the Good News,".
Lastly, as a gentle reminder, pursuing success and goals should be done in a manner that honors God. We should always ensure that our desires do not become a source of idolatry. Ephesians 5:5 "For know this, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. We thank You for the guidance You have provided him and ask that You continue to direct his steps. Prepare him for his presentation dinner, giving him the words to speak and the ability to connect with others. Help him to maintain a healthy lifestyle, exercising and eating right for Your glory.
We pray for his success at work and for opportunities to help more patients through his efforts. We ask that You open the door to a new job opportunity that is aligned with Your will. We also pray for a smooth and organized move, providing the resources and guidance needed.
Help him to keep his focus on You and to pursue his goals in a manner that honors You. All these things we ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
