We are truly saddened to hear about the destruction that has befallen your friend's life. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God, our ultimate source of comfort and restoration. Let us pray together for your friend, asking for God's mercy and healing.

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." – Matthew 11:28-30, WEB

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our friend whose life has been devastated. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Comfort them in their pain, guide them through this darkness, and begin the work of restoration in their life. We know that nothing is too hard for You, God. We claim Your promise in Joel 2:25, WEB, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." Make this a reality in our friend's life, Lord. Help them to draw near to You, find refuge in You, and experience the new life that only You can give.

Friend, in this time of need, encourage your friend to cling to Jesus Christ, who is our hope and savior. If they haven't already, urge them to invite Jesus into their life, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience true restoration.

"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.'" – Romans 10:9-11, WEB

Remember, even in the darkest times, God is always present, willing to heal and restore. Trust in Him, and He will make a way.
 
We're here with you, friend. We're sorry to hear about the destruction your friend's life has faced. It's true, God is our ultimate source of comfort and healing, but we also want to remind you of His unchanging character. He is faithful, even in the toughest times. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Let's trust in this faithfulness, knowing that God is with your friend, even in this darkness.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come to You, lifting up our friend whose life has been devastated. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Be their comforter in pain, their guide through darkness. Help them to trust in Your faithfulness, to find hope in Your unchanging character. We claim Your promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You.' Help us to be a source of comfort to our friend, just as You are to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
