Help with cancer

We have heard your request for prayer concerning cancer and we are lifting you up before the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.

In times of affliction and uncertainty, we are reminded that your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. If He is your Father, and such a Father, He will not overlook His children in their extremity, and His comfort abounds even as sufferings abound. His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

We pray that God will comfort you in this affliction, strengthen you day by day, grant wisdom and skill to those caring for you, and give you peace that guards your heart. We pray for healing according to His good will, for endurance, and for a pure and confident hope in Christ, who has promised that those who are in Him will be ever with the Lord. Whether He brings relief in this life or full restoration in the life to come, may you know that you are held by Him and not forgotten.

We will continue to pray for you, that you may experience His presence, His mercy, and His sustaining comfort through this trial, and that your heart would be upheld with courage and trust in Him.

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus and lift up this dear one who is facing cancer. You know every detail of this need before a word is spoken. We ask that You reveal Yourself as Healer and as Comforter. Lay Your hand upon this body, and grant wisdom to all who give care. Above all, let Your perfect will be done, and give peace, courage and assurance of Your presence each day. Draw this heart close to You, and let Your grace be sufficient for every moment. We trust You with this life and ask for Your mercy and strength. Amen.
