Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord ,please help my son ### to get a car loan as he is unable to get one due to lot of debts due to education loans .I am in a poor condition already .Please Lord help him .He got a job but it's extremely far and we can't afford the cab.

We join you in lifting up your son and your family before our Heavenly Father in this time of financial strain and worry, and we thank you for crying out to the Lord for help.

We hear the burden you carry, being in poor condition yourself while your son is weighed down by education debts and now faces the challenge of a job so far away that you cannot afford the daily cab fare. We know the Lord sees this need and cares deeply about every detail of our lives. He invites us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, as we read in 1 Peter 5:7, and He promises that if we seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

We also want to gently encourage you about the way we approach God. You prayed to the Lord, which is good, but we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name we pray with confidence.

We understand the desire for a car loan to solve the transportation problem, and we pray for God's provision. At the same time we want to share biblical wisdom about debt. Scripture warns us, The borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7 and encourages us, Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Romans 13:8 Taking on more debt when already burdened by education loans can add greater weight, so we pray not only for a loan if it is God's will, but even more for God's best provision, whether that be approval of a wise and manageable loan, an alternative like a carpool, public transport, a nearer opportunity, or help from the body of Christ, and for wisdom for your son to steward what God provides. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5

We take comfort in the promise, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and we remember, I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear parent and their son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the weight of these education debts and the poor condition this parent is in, and You see the difficulty of this far away job and the cost of travel. We ask for Your mercy and provision. Open a door for reliable and affordable transportation for this son, whether through a car loan on terms that will not further enslave him to debt, or through another means that You in Your wisdom know is best. Grant favor with lenders if it is Your will, and grant wisdom and discernment to make godly financial decisions. Provide for this family's daily needs, bring peace to anxious hearts, and help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 Give the son strength and diligence in his work, and let his labor be a testimony to You. Draw this family closer to Jesus, and let them know the hope and salvation that is only in Him. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every need to God in prayer through Jesus, to seek wise counsel from mature believers or a local church about managing debt and transportation options, and to trust that God will lead you step by step. He is faithful and He hears the cries of His children.

We have been praying for you and your son, and we hear how heavy this burden feels. You love your son and want to see him able to get to work, and at the same time you are carrying your own poor health and financial strain. Wanting a car loan to solve a far commute when education debt is already weighing on him is a lot to hold.

It makes sense that the cab costs are not sustainable and that a loan denial feels discouraging. When debt makes a new loan difficult, it can help to get a clear picture of the options with someone who does this work every day.

One practical step many families have found steadying is to meet with a trusted financial counselor, such as a nonprofit consumer credit counseling agency or a counselor at your bank or credit union, who can review income, debts, and repayment plans and explain what lenders look at and what alternatives might exist. They can also help you think through interim transportation ideas while you wait, like asking his employer about shift times, carpooling, or transit options, so you are not carrying these decisions alone.

We are asking God to give you both wisdom, peace, and provision in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this parent and son to You. You see their needs, the distance to work, the debt, and the worry about health and money. Grant them wisdom for each decision, kind helpers and counselors along the way, and strength for each day. Lead them to the provision that fits Your will for them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. The Lord knows your poverty and your son's burden of debt, the weight of education loans, the distance to his work and the daily cost which you cannot bear. He sees and He cares, for not a sigh escapes His ear.

We are reminded that though the starving citizens of Samaria did not know it, the Lord had made provision in abundance for all their hunger and there it was within a stone's throw of the city gates. The Lord had done it. So we ask you to remember that your Father in heaven knows what you have need of before you ask Him, and His hand is not shortened that it cannot provide. Whether that provision comes by a loan made wisely, by other means of travel, by favour with an employer or by help unexpected, we leave to His infinite wisdom, for He will do what is best for His children.

We pray for you and for your son that the Lord in His mercy would grant wisdom from above. The Scripture warns us that the borrower is servant to the lender, and we would not have you pressed into a heavier yoke without counsel and prudence. Ask the Lord to give you clear sight, to count the cost faithfully, to seek godly counsel in the church and among those who understand stewardship, and to open a door for honest provision that will not bring a snare. Pray that if a loan is granted it may be on just terms and within your power to repay, and if it is withheld that the Lord would show another way for your son to labour diligently and keep a good testimony.

Do not think it strange that you should pass through hardship, for the people of God have often swum through seas of difficulty and have reached heaven by a rough road. This present trial is not without purpose. It is meant to purify hope and to teach the soul to hold fast its profession, looking to Christ alone. In Him alone is salvation and in Him alone is our confidence for this life and the next. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and set your hope fully upon His grace.

Many a city has been taken because no store was laid up for the evil day. Let this season teach you to lean not on uncertain riches but on the living God who gives us all things richly to enjoy, and to commit your way unto Him who will direct your paths.

We join our faith with yours and pray:

O gracious Father, look upon this parent and this son in their need. Thou knowest their debts, their want, their distance and their fear. Provide for them according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Give wisdom to make righteous decisions, give favour where favour is needed, give contentment and patience to wait upon Thy will, and give daily bread and daily strength. Keep them from rash choices and keep them near to Christ, in whose name we trust for all things needful. Let Thy will be done and let Thy name be glorified in their lives. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord, to be diligent in prayer and in labour, and to trust that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget His own.
