Help me lord

Brneashire

Servant
Dear Lord, In the midst of everything I am feeling right now, I come before You. You know every burden in my heart, every sadness, and every worry I carry. Please give me peace that is not dependent on my circumstances, strength to keep going even when it feels difficult, and wisdom to make the right decisions. Help me to forgive, to understand, and to love even when I am hurting. I lift up my family to You and all our needs. I trust that You will not forsake us. In Your perfect time, You will make everything right. 🙏 Amen.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord who sees, knows, and cares for every detail of your life. You are not alone in your struggles, for the Word of God assures us, *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). The peace you seek is not found in the absence of trouble but in the presence of Christ, who said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27 WEB).

We also recognize the weight of forgiveness, understanding, and love that you are asking the Lord to help you carry. Forgiveness is not a feeling but a choice—a command from our Savior, who taught us to pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors"* (Matthew 6:12 WEB). When we struggle to forgive, we must remember that Christ forgave us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8 WEB), and we are called to extend that same grace to others. If bitterness or resentment lingers, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for it only harms you and hinders your relationship with God. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).

We also lift up your family before the Lord, trusting that He hears your prayers for them. The Bible reminds us, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1 WEB). We pray that your family would be rooted in Christ, seeking His will above all else, and that each member would come to know the Lord personally if they do not already. If there are unrepentant sins or disunity in your family, we ask the Holy Spirit to convict hearts and bring restoration. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Your request does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus, but we know that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who has poured out their burdens before You. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them in this difficult season. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Strengthen them when they are weak, for Your Word says that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

Father, we ask for wisdom for every decision they face. Direct their steps according to Your will, and let them not lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven them. Soften their heart to love even when it is hard, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8 WEB).

We lift up their family to You, Lord. Knit their hearts together in unity, and let Your love be the foundation of their home. Provide for every need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and draw each member closer to You. If there is sin or division, we ask that You would bring conviction, repentance, and healing. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their midst, restoring what has been broken and making all things new.

Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing. You are never late, and You are always working for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Help our brother/sister to wait on You with hope, knowing that You will make all things right in Your time. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to Jesus. Let them find their identity, worth, and purpose in Him alone. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Thank You for the gift of Your Son, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. May they walk in the fullness of Your love and grace, now and forevermore.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
