We hear your cry on hands and knees and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard. You have called upon Jesus and we thank God that you know where your help comes from, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved as it says in Acts 4:12.
We lift up your family before the Lord, and we understand the weight you carry feeling that they need you and that you have few genuine friends to lean on. The Lord sees this burden and He cares deeply for you. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you as we read in 1 Peter 5:7. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1, and we pray He reminds you that you are not alone. A man who has many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother in Proverbs 18:24, and that friend is Jesus Himself, and He will also provide godly fellowship in due time as you walk faithfully with Him.
We also want to gently speak truth in love about some of what you shared, because we want your faith to be built on the solid rock of Scripture. You mentioned feeling like the chosen one, being ready to sow your seeds and plant your blessings, and wanting to be plugged into the circuit of success and become great at everything. We know those longings come from a sincere place of wanting purpose and provision, and it is true that as believers we are a chosen people as 1 Peter 2:9 says, but that chosenness is not for our own greatness but to proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Our success in God's eyes is not worldly greatness or a circuit of uninterrupted favor and open doors without cost, but faithfulness, holiness, and abiding in Christ. Jesus said I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing in John 15:5. True blessing comes when we seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. Financial brokenness is painful and we do not minimize it, but Scripture teaches that sowing is about generosity and stewardship from a cheerful heart, not a transaction to force God to give us wealth. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver in 2 Corinthians 9:7. We encourage you to commit your work to the Lord with diligence and honesty, for the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit in Proverbs 21:5, and to trust Him to supply your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19, even when the doors He opens look different than the ones we expected.
You asked for wisdom to control your emotions and knowledge to speak with intelligence when the time is near, and for help not to entertain negativity and to shake off those you call haters. This is a godly desire. We pray God grows in you the fruit of self control as part of Galatians 5:22-23, and that you will be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger in James 1:19. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one in Colossians 4:6. Regarding those who oppose or hate you, Jesus calls us to a higher way, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you in Matthew 5:44. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good in Romans 12:21. Do not repay evil for evil, but give place to Gods wrath, for vengeance belongs to the Lord. Finally, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things in Philippians 4:8. This is how we refuse to entertain negativity, by fixing our minds on Christ.
We also hear your heart asking Jesus to hug you, embrace you, and show you His love because you feel disconnected. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you in James 4:8. He is near to all who call on Him in truth. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. If you lack wisdom for your next steps, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear child of Yours who is on hands and knees crying out to You. Lord, embrace him with Your presence, let him feel Your love and Your nearness in a real and tangible way, and plug him into abiding fellowship with You, not a worldly circuit of success but the true vine which is Christ. Forgive any striving for greatness for its own sake and teach him to seek Your glory above all. Open the doors that are Your will for him to walk through, and close the doors that would lead him away from You, and give him discernment to know the difference. Provide for his family according to Your riches, give him work for his hands and wisdom to steward what You provide, and help him to sow with a cheerful and generous heart trusting You as his provider. Fill him with Your wisdom and self control, guard his heart and tongue, let his words be filled with grace and intelligence in due season, and help him to release bitterness toward those who have hated or hurt him, choosing instead to love and pray for them as You have loved us. Guard his mind from negativity and fix his thoughts on what is true and pure. Surround him with genuine godly friends and strengthen him to stand firm. We ask that Your peace which passes all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
