Anonymous

Beloved of All
We are ill and suffering in this major heatwave and friend with dementia. Jesus please heal us and bring mighty miracle open doors of blessings to be able to move on to a larger blessed restored home for us and close ones and please cool us down Jesus protect and bring justice please help. Amen

We join with you in this time of suffering and lift you up before the throne of grace, asking our Lord Jesus to bring relief, healing, and protection in this severe heatwave. We hear your cry for mercy for yourselves and for your dear friend with dementia, and for justice and a restored home, and we stand with you seeking God's will together.

We are reminded of His tender care for us in every hardship, for He is our keeper and our shade. Psalm 121:5-6 says, The LORD is your keeper. The LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. And Isaiah 43:2 says, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. We cling to these promises as we ask the Lord to cool you, to sustain your bodies, and to guard you from the dangers of this extreme heat.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our beloved ones who are ill and suffering in this heat. Lord, You see their discomfort and weakness, and we ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon them. Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD. We ask You to ease their bodies, to lower the heat around them, to provide cool air, water, rest, and strength. We ask You to protect them from further harm, for Psalm 91:1 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Cover them under Your shadow, Lord, and let them find refuge in You. We also lift up their dear friend with dementia to You. Lord, have mercy and surround this precious one with Your peace and dignity and care. Psalm 73:26 says, My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Be their strength and comfort, and give wisdom and endurance to all who care for them.

We also bring before You their longing for a larger, restored, and blessed home and for open doors of provision, and their cry for protection and justice. Lord, You love justice and You do not forsake Your faithful ones, for Psalm 37:28 says, For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake his saints. We ask that You would bring justice where there has been wrong, and that You would open the doors that no man can shut according to Your perfect will. Philippians 4:19 says, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Provide for their needs, Lord, whether it be a new home or peace and restoration where they are, and help them to trust Your timing and Your goodness. Matthew 11:28 says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Grant them that rest even now in the midst of this trial.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Keep drawing near to Him in prayer and in His Word, and take practical steps as you are able to stay safe in this heat, to stay hydrated, to seek cool shelter, to seek medical care when needed, and to ask for help from trusted community or authorities, trusting that God often provides through the hands of others.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are near to all who call upon You in truth. We trust You to heal, to cool, to protect, to provide, and to bring justice in Your perfect way and time. We rest in Your unfailing love and ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We have been praying as we read your request, and we hear how heavy this season feels with the heat, illness, and caring for your friend with dementia while also longing for a safer, more spacious home.

It is a lot to carry at once, to feel unwell yourself and also worry for someone vulnerable who cannot always speak for their own needs. We are asking God to meet you both right where you are, to give you protection and relief in these hot days, and wisdom for each next decision about housing and care.

If you have not already, we gently encourage you to reach out to a medical provider or clinic about how you and your friend are feeling in the heat, and to let a trusted neighbor, family member, or local support person know what you are facing so you are not carrying this alone. You do not have to sort out the larger questions about a move all at once.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this dear one and their friend to You. You see their sickness and exhaustion and the burden of this heatwave. Please bring Your comfort and healing according to Your will, keep them safe and cool, and give them rest. Give strength and clarity to caregivers and doctors, and surround their friend with gentle, faithful care. Lead them step by step toward the housing and provision they need, and let Your justice and peace be near. We trust them into Your hands. Amen.

Your affliction in this fierce heat, with bodily illness and the heavy burden of caring for a friend afflicted with dementia, has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and when He draws near to His people they have no need to say they are sick, for pardon and healing are found together in Him. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the physician, but how much more should we seek the great Physician of souls, who alone can give a real healing with His own hand. That healing begins with forgiveness through His blood, and then flows outward to the body and to all our distresses, changing the life and making the nature other than it was before.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, will lay His hand upon you and upon your friend, and grant relief, recovery and cool refreshment in this oppressive heat according to His perfect will. We ask Him to guard and protect you, to give wisdom to those who care for you, to sustain you under this trial, and to provide for your daily needs, including a suitable home, as He in His fatherly wisdom sees best. We pray also that His justice, which is holy and unimpeachable, may be made manifest, and that you may be enabled to bow before it in penitence while trusting wholly in His mercy through the sacrifice of His Son, by whom alone salvation is found.

May the Lord lift you up as He lifted Peter's wife's mother, that being healed you may be strengthened to serve Him. Look to Calvary, where the healing balm is found, and hear His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and healing is linked with His teaching. Cast all your care upon Him, seek first His pardon, and trust Him for all other mercies.

We commend you to Him who is great in justice and great in love, praying that He will cool you, comfort you, heal you, and keep you and your loved ones in His care. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer in this time of intense heat and illness has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion.

To suffer from sickness while the air itself feels heavy and burning is a great trial, and to watch a friend struggle with dementia adds sorrow upon sorrow. God sees your weakness and your love for those close to you, and He is not distant from these bodily afflictions. Scripture teaches us that care for the body for the sake of health is good and right, and it is right to ask the Lord for coolness, for relief, for healing and for protection. He who made our bodies knows our need for rest and refreshment.

I also hear your longing for a larger and restored home and for open doors for you and your loved ones. It is good to bring these desires to God with humility, trusting His wisdom more than our own plans. Humility is an excellent and needful grace, and Christ often taught it, and hearing it again and again helps us to be more deeply formed by it. So we ask not only for what we think is best, but for what God knows is best, asking Him to provide what is truly needful and to lead you according to His mercy and justice. He is both just and merciful, and He tempers justice with mercy, and we can trust His judgments even when we do not fully understand them.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our salvation and hope, have mercy upon these Your servants. You know the oppression of this heatwave and the sickness they bear. Lay Your healing hand upon them according to Your will, give strength to their bodies, cool the air around them, and grant them protection day and night. Have mercy also upon their friend who suffers with dementia, surround that dear one with Your peace, and uphold those who give care with patience and love. Provide for their daily needs, and if it be Your good will, open the way to a safe and suitable home where they may live in peace and care for one another. Above all, bring justice where there has been wrong, comfort where there is distress, and let them know Your presence in this trial. Help them to rest in You, to hear Your word again and be strengthened by it, and to keep their hope fixed on Christ. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, to drink water and seek coolness and care for your health as you are able, and to cast every burden on Him, for He cares for you.
