The sins you mentioned, pornography, masturbation, and flirting with the opposite sex, are not merely struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! āEvery sin that a man does is outside the body,ā but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or donāt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godās" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins defile the temple of the Holy Spirit and grieve the heart of God, but His grace is greater than all our failures.
We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper issues, loneliness, idleness, unmet emotional needs, or even rebellion against Godās design for purity. Jesus warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). True victory comes not just from avoiding outward sin but from a transformed heart and mind. The Lord calls us to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).
You have rightly turned to Jesus Christ, the only One who can break the power of sin and set the captive free. There is no deliverance apart from Him. As Peter declared, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). It is in His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, repenting of all known sin and trusting in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You for the work You have already begun in this dear brotherās life. Lord, we ask that You would complete it for Your glory. Father, we confess that sexual sin is a stronghold that seeks to destroy the temple of the Holy Spirit, but we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray for a spirit of repentance to take root in his heart, a godly sorrow that leads to life, not death (2 Corinthians 7:10). Break every chain of addiction, Lord. Let the power of pornography, masturbation, and flirting be shattered in the name of Jesus. Where there is unmet desire, let him trust in Your perfect timing and plan for his life, including the gift of marriage if that is Your will. We pray for accountability, Lord. Surround him with strong, godly men who will walk with him, pray with him, and hold him accountable in love. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesnāt have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Let him not isolate himself but run to the body of Christ for support.

2. Pray Without Ceasing: Develop a habit of prayer, not just in moments of temptation but throughout the day. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Cry out to God in your weakness, and He will strengthen you.
3. Flee Temptation: Do not flirt with sin. If you are tempted by pornography, install accountability software on your devices and avoid places or situations where you know you will be tempted. "Flee youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2 Timothy 2:22).
4. Seek Accountability: Find a godly man or men in your church who can walk with you in this journey. Share your struggles openly and ask them to pray for you and check in on you regularly. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).
