Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! The fact that you have seen improvement and are crying out to God in repentance is evidence of His mercy and transforming power at work. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your heart and mind to the Lord, asking for complete deliverance and lasting victory over these sins. The battle you are fighting is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness, and we know that through Christ, you are more than a conqueror.

First, we want to affirm that your desire for purity and holiness is pleasing to God. The scriptures tell us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." The sins you mentioned, pornography, masturbation, and flirting with the opposite sex outside the bounds of godly marriage, are forms of sexual immorality that grieve the Holy Spirit. But we serve a God who is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9).

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about the physical act but about deeper issues of the heart, idolatry, loneliness, unmet desires, or even rebellion. Jesus warned in Matthew 15:19, "For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies." True deliverance will come as the Lord renews your mind and transforms your heart. Romans 12:2 urges us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you this struggle is too great, that you are defined by your past, or that you will never be free. The Word of God declares in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." The Lord has already provided a way out, His name is Jesus Christ, and His power is made perfect in your weakness.

We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Flee from temptation as Joseph did when Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). Remove any access to pornography or ungodly influences from your life, and fill your mind with scripture instead. Psalm 119:9-11 says, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; don’t let me stray from your commandments. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." Memorize verses that speak to your struggle, and meditate on them daily.

Accountability is also crucial. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." Find a trusted brother or sister in Christ who can walk with you, pray with you, and hold you accountable in love. Do not try to fight this battle alone. The church is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is strength in community.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this beloved one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that have brought them this far, and we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in them. Father, we confess that sexual sin is a snare of the enemy, designed to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction, lust, and impurity in their life. We rebuke the spirit of perversion and declare that it has no place in their heart, mind, or body. We pray that You would renew their mind daily through Your Word, that they would no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the power of Your Spirit. Fill them with wisdom, discernment, and a holy fear of You, that they may hate sin as You hate it.

Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or emptiness in their heart that the enemy has exploited. Replace every lie with Your truth, every fear with Your peace, and every ungodly desire with a passion for righteousness. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You. Give them the strength to flee temptation and the courage to stand firm in their faith.

Lord, we also pray for a godly spouse for them, if that is Your will. Prepare their heart for marriage, that they may enter into it with purity, honor, and a deep commitment to You. Let their future marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church, holy and pleasing in Your sight.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to Yourself. Let them know the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace. May they find their identity in Christ alone, and may their life bring glory and honor to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and run with endurance the race set before you (Hebrews 12:1-2). You are not alone in this battle, we are with you in prayer, and the Lord is fighting for you.

We are so glad to hear you’ve seen real improvement, and we join you in thanking Jesus for that. We also hear the ache in your words, the tears, the longing for lasting change, the desire for this to be fully behind you. That kind of heart-honesty is not a weakness; it is exactly the ground where God does His deep work.

One thing we have seen is that lasting freedom from patterns like this usually unfolds as a process, not a single dramatic event. It can be tempting to think that if we just try harder or pray with enough intensity, the struggle will vanish overnight. But Jesus often grows us step by step, teaching us to walk in new habits and trust Him in our weakness day by day. So please do not be discouraged that you still need more improvement, that is the normal path of sanctification, not a sign that you’re failing.

A practical step that often helps is to surround yourself with wise, discreet brothers in Christ who can walk this out with you. An accountability partner or a confidential Christian support group focused on sexual integrity can make a real difference. Knowing someone will ask how you’re doing and pray with you specifically can help weaken the pull of isolation and shame. If the struggle feels overwhelming or you find you cannot stop despite repeated attempts, it may be wise to speak with a pastor or a Christian counselor who understands these dynamics; it’s not a mark of spiritual weakness but of practical wisdom.

We pray for you now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our brother to You. Thank You for the progress You have already given him. He wants these sins gone forever, for Your glory. Help him to rest in Your mercy when he stumbles, and to keep getting up. Renew his mind. Surround him with strong, healthy relationships that help him stay on the narrow path. Grant him patience with the process and a growing hatred of sin. We ask for full deliverance in Your perfect timing and Your way. Amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts, and He is not unmindful of your tears. Rejoice that He has already begun a work of deliverance; to Him be all the glory, for every inch of ground gained is by His free grace alone. Yet beware of resting in partial victory. The arrow of temptation is often shot when the watchman slumbers, and sin, if dallied with even a little, will assuredly spot the soul and bring forth death. That you still groan for a lasting and true deliverance is a token of the Spirit’s striving within.

Remember, the only ransom for sin was found in the mind of God Himself, the precious blood of the Lamb slain. None know freedom from sin but those who trust wholly in that atoning sacrifice. Look nowhere else for pardon or for power. The same Christ who blots out guilt must also break the chains of its dominion. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much a miracle of sovereign grace as forgiveness itself. Therefore plead the blood, but also cry mightily for the Holy Spirit to renew your youth like the eagle’s. Mere resolution will not suffice; you must be strengthened with might in the inner man. The mind must be washed, the imagination purified, and the heart made wise by heavenly teaching.

Flee every occasion that stirs lustful fires. If your hand or eye cause you to stumble, deal severely with it. It is better to enter life maimed than to be cast into the pit. Watch your thoughts; do not let fancy rule when divine grace declines. Instead, feed upon the Word, drink in the atmosphere of the skies through continual prayer, and let your soul be filled with Christ, for an empty heart invites the tempter. Remember that a single indulgence, just occasionally by way of pleasure, might prove you a stranger to the genuine deliverance which Jesus gives.

Go onward, then, with holy fear and joyful hope. When the enemy would whisper that God’s ear is shut, answer him with the memory of past mercies. The Lord who brought you out of Egypt will perfect His work. Persevere in supplication, and strive afresh; for He who has begun a good work will complete it. And when you have obtained fuller deliverance, see that your tongue declares the works of the Lord. Live to tell of His faithfulness, and let your daily walk be a song of gratitude for deliverance from the grave of sin.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not be distressed by the tears you have shed, for they are a sign of a soul that hates sin. You have seen improvement, give glory to Christ indeed, but now you must press on with a sober mind, not growing impatient when the struggle continues. ā€œIn the season of temptation, make not haste.ā€ The faithful God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear; with each assault He provides the way of escape, that you may be able to endure. This is His promise, and He cannot lie.

Consider what He has already done: He has not only freed you from sin’s dominion but has made you a servant of righteousness, which is better than any freedom. He led you, like an orphan snatched from savages, into the life of angels and set a kind Father over you. That freedom is not a human liberty of words alone, but the very work of the Son. ā€œIf the Son makes you free, you will be free indeedā€, free from sin, for He is pure from sin, and He gives that firm freedom which no one can revoke. Now He desires to renew the spirit of your mind, so that the old deeds no longer belong to you. To be renewed is to have the same self changed from oldness to newness, as a body shedding corruption, this happens through the Spirit who will not endure old deeds.

So do not think you are the only one who is unhappy; every soul carries some grief, some hidden battle. Yet consider the benefit of these afflictions: they wake you from slumber, they strip away distraction, they press you nearer to the King. Be like the eunuch who stands by His throne, clear in mind, with an eye gentle and keen, active and sharp, not soft and dissolute, not downcast, but full of holy freedom and watchfulness. Keep that vision before you. The Table of the Lord, His own body, is the sinew of your soul, the bond of your mind, your confidence, your life. There you partake of the leaven that is free from sin, a new dough that transforms the deadened lump. Cling to that mystery with all your strength.

Do not suppose that lasting deliverance comes by a single cry, however heartfelt, but by daily dying to sin. You are dead to it, now live as one alive to righteousness. The law has no claim on a dead man. Therefore stand firm, knowing that the same God who sympathizes with your tears will finish the work. He is faithful. He will give understanding, mercy, and a full escape. Only do not shrink back, for you have not yet resisted to blood. Strive as one who already belongs to the King, and He will bring you into that immortal life where no sin can follow.
