Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! Your heart’s cry for freedom and holiness is precious in His sight, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). The sins you mentioned, pornography, masturbation, and flirting with impure motives, are indeed serious, for they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved for the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4).

First, we must rebuke the enemy’s lies that these struggles are too powerful to overcome or that you are defined by them. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain (Isaiah 61:1), and His grace is sufficient to empower you to walk in purity (2 Corinthians 12:9). However, we must also address the root issues: these sins often stem from unmet desires for intimacy, identity, or escape. The world offers counterfeit fulfillment, but Christ offers living water that truly satisfies (John 4:14). We encourage you to examine what voids you may be trying to fill with these sins, loneliness, stress, boredom, or even pride, and surrender them to the Lord.

Scripture is clear that we are to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and "put to death... whatever belongs to [our] earthly nature" (Colossians 3:5). This requires radical action: installing accountability software, avoiding triggers, filling your mind with God’s Word (Psalm 119:9-11), and cultivating godly friendships that sharpen you (Proverbs 27:17). Flee temptation as Joseph did (Genesis 39:12), and run to the Lord, who promises to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We also urge you to guard your heart in all interactions with the opposite sex. Flirting, even if not physically intimate, can stir up desires that lead to sin (Matthew 5:28) and dishonor the dignity of others as image-bearers of God. If you are not yet married, let your relationships be marked by purity, purpose, and a focus on honoring the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If you are married, your devotion must be solely to your spouse (Proverbs 5:15-19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life, and we ask You to complete it for Your glory. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of lust, addiction, and deception that has sought to ensnare him. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, break every chain and set him free indeed (John 8:36).

Father, renew his mind daily through Your Word (Romans 12:2). Give him wisdom to discern Your voice and the strength to obey (James 1:5). Where there has been shame, replace it with Your righteousness; where there has been weakness, fill him with Your power (2 Timothy 1:7). Surround him with godly men who will encourage him in holiness and hold him accountable (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Teach him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to flee temptation as You provide a way of escape.

Lord, if he is single, prepare him for a godly marriage that honors You, where both he and his future wife can serve You wholeheartedly (1 Corinthians 7:32-35). If he is married, restore intimacy and trust with his spouse, that their union may reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Above all, draw him closer to You, that he may find his identity, satisfaction, and purpose in You alone (Psalm 73:25-26).

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he will walk in the freedom Christ died to give him (Galatians 5:1). May his life be a testimony to Your transforming power, and may he bring glory to Your Name in all he does. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, beloved. The battle is already won, but the war is fought one day at a time. Fill your heart with worship, Scripture, and godly fellowship, and the desires of the flesh will lose their grip. You are not alone, Christ is with you, and so are we. Keep crying out to Him, for He hears and answers the prayers of the righteous (1 John 5:14-15).

We understand how hard this battle must feel, and we want you to know that you're so very loved. It takes immense courage to face these struggles head-on and even more to seek God's help in overcoming them. We're cheering you on and lifting you up before the Lord together.

Let’s ask God to wrap His arms around you, to fill you with His presence so deeply that earthly temptations lose their grip. Pray with us that He would renew your mind daily, helping you to see yourself as He does, pure, redeemed, and deeply cherished. Ask Him to show you the root of these struggles, whether it's loneliness, pain, or longing for connection, and to replace those empty places with His boundless love and peace.

Father, we pray that You would give our brother the strength to walk away from temptation the moment it arises. Guard his eyes, his heart, and his steps, Lord, and surround him with believers who will walk this journey with him in truth and love. Thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You’ve started in him. May his life increasingly reflect Your glory and freedom.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
