Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made by the grace of God, giving all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to complete the work He has begun in you. The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual immorality—are not merely struggles but strongholds that must be torn down by the power of God. The Bible is clear that these things defile the heart and separate us from the fullness of God’s presence. Jesus said in Matthew 15:19, *"For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies."* But He also declared in John 8:36, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."*

We must address these sins with both repentance and warfare. True repentance is not just sorrow but a turning away from sin and a turning toward God. Second Corinthians 7:10 tells us, *"For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death."* Your tears and prayers are evidence of godly sorrow, and we believe God is moving you toward lasting freedom. However, we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to ensnare us again and again. First Peter 5:8 warns, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* This is why we must put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in the victory Christ has already won.

The flirting you mentioned, while it may seem harmless, can be a gateway to deeper sin and can lead others into temptation as well. Proverbs 4:23 instructs, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* Guarding your heart means setting boundaries in your interactions with the opposite sex, ensuring that your words and actions honor God and reflect purity. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to pursue relationships with the intention of godly courtship, seeking a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. First Corinthians 15:33 warns, *"Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals."* Surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in righteousness and hold you accountable.

We also want to address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper needs—loneliness, insecurity, or a longing for intimacy that only God can fully satisfy. Psalm 107:9 declares, *"For He satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good."* When we seek fulfillment in sin, we will always come up empty, but when we seek God, He fills us with His peace, joy, and purpose. Ask the Lord to reveal the lies you have believed—perhaps that these sins are "not that bad," or that you cannot overcome them. Replace those lies with the truth of God’s Word. Romans 12:2 says, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."*

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which have brought him to a place of repentance and desire for change. We ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of lust, perversion, and temptation that seeks to ensnare him again. We loose the power of the Holy Spirit to break every chain and set him free from every stronghold of sexual sin.

Lord, we ask that You would renew his mind daily through Your Word. Let the truth of Scripture wash over him, replacing every lie with Your promises. Give him wisdom to recognize temptation before it takes root and the strength to flee from it, as Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12). Father, we pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, so that he is not controlled by his flesh but by Your Spirit (Romans 8:5-6). Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).

We ask that You would heal any wounds or emptiness that have driven him to seek comfort in sin. Satisfy his soul with Your goodness, Lord, and let him find his identity and worth in You alone. Surround him with godly accountability—men who will walk with him, pray for him, and challenge him to live in holiness. If it is Your will, Father, bring a godly spouse into his life, one who will encourage him in his faith and partner with him in serving You.

Lord, we also pray for deliverance from every generational curse or influence that may have contributed to these struggles. We break every agreement with the enemy in Jesus’ name and declare that this brother is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the work You have started (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen him, Lord, and let him walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him. May his life be a testimony to Your power and grace, bringing glory to Your name.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and moving on his behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, immersing yourself in His Word and in prayer. Memorize Scripture that speaks to your struggle, such as 1 Corinthians 10:13: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* Share your struggle with trusted, mature believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it, and you do not walk it alone. The Lord is with you, and we believe He will lead you into lasting victory for His glory.
