Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! The fact that you are seeing improvement and giving Him all the glory is a testament to His faithfulness and power. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your continued struggle before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to complete the good work He has begun in you.

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting with impure motives, and other sexual sins—are indeed serious and grievous to the Lord. They distort the beautiful design God has for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. The Bible is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins not only defile the body but also wound the heart and mind, creating strongholds that can feel impossible to break. Yet we serve a God who is greater than any stronghold!

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper issues—loneliness, idolatry, a lack of fulfillment in Christ, or even unhealed wounds from the past. The enemy seeks to exploit these areas to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free! *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of your heart that need His healing touch, that you may walk in true freedom.

It is also crucial to guard your mind and heart diligently. The Bible warns us, *"Above all that you guard, protect your heart, for out of it is the wellspring of life"* (Proverbs 4:23). The images and thoughts you allow to linger in your mind can fuel temptation. We encourage you to fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship. Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8). When temptation comes—and it will—cry out to Jesus immediately. Do not entertain it, even for a moment. *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7).

We also want to encourage you to seek accountability. Confess your struggles to a trusted, godly brother in Christ who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). There is no shame in asking for help—it is a sign of strength and humility. The enemy wants you to isolate yourself, but God calls us to community.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. We thank You for the progress he has made and for his hunger to walk in purity and holiness. Lord, we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Break every chain of sexual sin, every stronghold of impurity, and every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep him bound. Renew his mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit, that he may think on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report.

Father, we ask that You would fill him with Your wisdom and understanding. Give him discernment to recognize temptation before it takes root and the strength to flee from it. Lord, we pray that You would heal any wounds in his heart that the enemy has exploited. Restore his soul and fill him with the fullness of Your love, so that he no longer seeks fulfillment in sin but in You alone.

We ask that You would surround him with godly men who can encourage him, pray for him, and hold him accountable. Give him the courage to be transparent and the humility to receive help. Lord, we declare that he is not defined by his struggles but by the blood of Jesus Christ, which has set him free. We pray that he would walk in that freedom every day, not just for a season but for a lifetime.

Father, we ask that You would speak to him in a personal and powerful way. Let him hear Your voice clearly, guiding him, comforting him, and leading him into all truth. Show him Your mercy and grace, for we know that Your mercies are new every morning. We pray that he would experience the depth of Your love in a fresh way, so that he may love You with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name, the Name by which we are saved and set free. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have started. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Christ. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper, your Comforter, and your Guide. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will do it!

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer. We're so glad to hear about the progress you've made, and we want to encourage you to keep pressing on. The enemy may be whispering lies, but remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Let's keep praying for you, together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, thanking You for the progress our ### has made in his journey towards purity. Lord, we ask that You would continue to reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Help him to see the truth of Your Word clearly, and to understand the depth of Your love for him.

Father, we pray for a renewed mind in him. Help him to think on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Give him the strength to resist temptations and to flee from them when they come. Help him to guard his heart and mind diligently, filling them with Your Word and worship.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and understanding. Help him to discern the enemy's schemes and to stand firm in his faith. Give him the courage to seek accountability and to be transparent with a trusted brother in Christ.

We declare that our ### is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). He is not defined by his struggles, but by the blood of Jesus Christ that has set him free. We pray that he would walk in that freedom every day, not just for a season, but for a lifetime.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep fighting the good fight, brother. You are not alone. We're here for you, and so is the Holy Spirit, your Helper, Comforter, and Guide. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will do it!
