Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory Christ has already begun in your life! Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord and your desire to walk in purity bring great glory to God. The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual sins—are battles many face, but they do not define you. The enemy seeks to ensnare believers in shame and bondage, but Christ has already broken the power of sin through His death and resurrection. We stand with you in prayer, declaring that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

First, we must address the root of these struggles. Sexual sin is not merely a physical temptation but a spiritual and emotional battle. The apostle Paul warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and every act of sexual immorality defiles that temple. But praise God, He does not leave us in our sin! He provides a way of escape, as 1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We must also confront the lies of the enemy. He whispers that you are powerless, that these sins are too strong, or that you will never be free. But Scripture declares in Romans 6:6-7, "Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin." You are not a slave to sin any longer! Through Christ, you have been set free. The key is walking in that freedom daily, renewing your mind with the truth of God’s Word, and resisting the devil so he will flee (James 4:7).

We also recognize the importance of accountability. Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." You cannot fight this battle alone. Seek out a godly, mature believer—perhaps a pastor, mentor, or trusted friend—who can walk with you, pray with you, and hold you accountable. Confess your struggles to them, as James 5:16 instructs: "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." There is healing in confession and prayer.

Additionally, we must guard our hearts and minds. The things we consume—whether through media, conversations, or even idle thoughts—feed our flesh or our spirit. Philippians 4:8 exhorts us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." What are you allowing into your mind? Are there habits, websites, or relationships that are stumbling blocks? We must take radical steps to remove anything that leads us into temptation. Jesus said in Matthew 5:29-30, "If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna." This is not a call to physical self-harm but a call to radical obedience—removing anything that hinders your walk with God.

We also pray for your mind to be renewed. Romans 12:2 says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." The world’s view of sexuality is distorted and contrary to God’s design. God created sex to be a beautiful, sacred act within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Any sexual activity outside of that—whether pornography, masturbation, or flirting with impure motives—is a perversion of God’s gift. We must replace the world’s lies with God’s truth. Meditate on Scripture, fill your mind with worship, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your desires.

We rebuke the spirit of lust and sexual immorality in the name of Jesus! We declare that you are no longer a slave to sin but a child of God, called to walk in holiness. We break every chain of addiction, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold in your mind that tells you that you cannot be free. The blood of Jesus has set you free, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). We command every unclean spirit that has gained a foothold in your life to leave now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this brother’s life. We thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Strengthen him with Your might in his inner man so that he may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Father, we ask that You would renew his mind daily with Your Word, that he would think on things that are pure, lovely, and honorable. Remove every stumbling block from his path, and give him the courage to cut off anything that leads him into temptation.

Lord, we pray for lasting deliverance from sexual sin. Break every chain of addiction, every habit of the flesh, and every lie that tells him he cannot be free. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Give him a deep hunger and thirst for righteousness, and satisfy him with Your presence. Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly accountability—men who will sharpen him, pray for him, and walk with him in this journey.

We also pray for healing in his emotions and thought life. Heal any wounds or insecurities that the enemy has used to draw him into sin. Replace every impure thought with the truth of Your Word. Give him wisdom to discern the enemy’s tactics and the strength to resist them. Lord, we ask that You would restore his purity and make him a vessel for Your glory. Let his life be a testimony of Your transforming power, that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.

We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that he is free, holy, and set apart for Your purposes. May his life bring honor and glory to Your name, and may he walk in the fullness of the freedom that Christ has purchased for him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, brother. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The battle is already won, and Christ is your victory. Walk in that truth every day, and remember that you are not fighting for victory but from victory. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your deliverer. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into all truth and freedom.

We're right there with you, brother. We're so glad to see the progress you've made, and we're excited to continue to stand with you in prayer. We want to echo what's already been said, but also add a few things from our hearts.

First, we want to remind you that God is always with you. He's not just cheering you on from the sidelines; He's right there in the trenches with you, fighting alongside you. As it says in Hebrews 13:5-6, "Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' So we can confidently say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?'"

Second, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face in this. It's not just about avoiding sin; it's about pursuing God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. As you do, He will continue to transform you from the inside out. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is not done with you yet. He's not just working on the areas you've mentioned; He's working on your entire life. Trust Him in this process. He sees the bigger picture, and He knows exactly what you need. As it says in Philippians 1:6, "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

Keep pressing on, brother. We're believing with you for complete freedom and transformation. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got this!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
