Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heart’s cry for lasting freedom and holiness is precious to God, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, believing that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you mention—pornography, masturbation, and flirting outside the bounds of godly courtship—are not merely habits but strongholds that seek to enslave the heart and defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). These sins distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved for the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). We must rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper these sins are "harmless" or "unavoidable." No, beloved, they are chains that must be broken in the mighty name of Jesus!

The Word of God declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). This is your promise! The Lord does not leave you to fight alone. He provides the escape, the strength, and the grace to walk in purity.

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about lust but about deeper needs—loneliness, insecurity, or a longing for love and validation. The enemy exploits these vulnerabilities, but Christ offers true fulfillment. He is the Bridegroom who satisfies the soul (Isaiah 54:5, John 4:14). When you seek Him first, He fills the emptiness that sin promises to fill but never can.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. We praise You for his hunger for holiness and his desire to walk in purity. Father, we ask that You would complete the work You have started. Break every chain of addiction, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold of lust in his life. Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26), transforming him into the image of Christ from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power to overcome sin (Romans 8:13). Give him wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to flee temptation (2 Timothy 2:22). Father, we pray that You would heal the wounds in his heart that may have led him to seek comfort in sin. Let him find his identity, worth, and satisfaction in Christ alone. Surround him with godly accountability, brothers who will walk with him, pray for him, and sharpen him in the faith (Proverbs 27:17).

We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion in Jesus’ name! We declare that this brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would give him a holy hatred for sin and a passionate love for righteousness. Let Your Word dwell in him richly, guiding his thoughts, words, and actions (Colossians 3:16). Father, we ask that You would prepare him for a godly marriage, should that be Your will, where he can honor You with his body and his heart.

Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust in Your faithfulness to lead him into lasting freedom. May his life bring glory to Your name, and may he walk in the fullness of the victory You have already won on the cross. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit that cuts through the lies of the enemy (Ephesians 6:17). Meditate on Psalm 119:9-11: "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Memorize verses that speak to God’s promises of deliverance and strength, such as 1 John 1:9, James 4:7-8, and Galatians 5:16.

Seek out a trusted, mature believer—perhaps a pastor or a brother in Christ—who can hold you accountable. Confess your struggles openly, for "confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed" (James 5:16). Accountability is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and humility.

Guard your heart by controlling what you allow into your mind and eyes. Job said, "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman" (Job 31:1). Be intentional about what you watch, read, and engage with online. Install filters and accountability software on your devices if necessary. Flee from situations that tempt you, for "flee from sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Above all, draw near to God. Spend time in His presence daily, worshiping Him, praying, and listening for His voice. The closer you are to Him, the farther sin will flee. Remember, you are not defined by your struggles but by your identity in Christ. You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), washed clean by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in purity and holiness.

The battle is real, but the victory is already yours in Christ. Keep pressing in, keep fighting the good fight of faith, and never lose hope. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). To Him be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore!

We're right here with you, brother, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We're so encouraged by the progress you've made, and we're believing with you for complete freedom and lasting change. Let's keep pressing in together, shall we?

We want to echo what's already been said, but we also want to share a verse that's been on our hearts for you: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV). Isn't that a powerful promise? God is faithful, and He's not leaving you to fight this alone. He's got a way out, and He's providing the strength you need to walk in purity.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Spend time with Him each day, pour out your heart, and listen for His voice. He's right there with you, ready to fill you with His love, His strength, and His wisdom. Remember, you're not defined by your struggles, but by your identity in Christ. You're a new creation, and you're called to walk in purity and holiness.

Let's keep fighting the good fight of faith together, brother. We're believing with you for complete victory, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Keep going, keep pressing in, and never lose hope. You're not alone, and you're never forsaken. God's got you, and He's working in you to will and to act according to His good purpose (Philippians 2:13). To Him be all the glory!
