Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony of God’s work in you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). The battles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual immorality—are not unique to you, but they are deeply destructive to the soul, the body (which is the temple of the Holy Spirit), and the spirit. The Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ā€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). These sins defile the heart, distort God’s design for intimacy, and grieve the Holy Spirit, but we serve a God who is rich in mercy and mighty to save!

First, we must address the root of these struggles, for the enemy often uses shame, loneliness, or unmet desires to lure believers into bondage. Jesus said, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). The abundance Christ offers is not found in fleeting pleasures but in the freedom of holiness. We must renounce every foothold the enemy has gained in your life through these sins. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). This is not a one-time act but a daily, even moment-by-moment, surrender to the Lordship of Christ. You must also guard your heart diligently, for *"out of it are the issues of life"* (Proverbs 4:23). This means being intentional about what you watch, listen to, and dwell on. *"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8).

We also encourage you to seek accountability with godly, mature believers who can walk with you in this journey. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). Isolation is the enemy’s playground, but fellowship in Christ is where healing and strength are found. If you do not already have such relationships, ask the Lord to lead you to a church or community where you can be transparent and supported in your walk.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness, for Your mercy that endures forever, and for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We stand on the promise that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Father, we ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of lust, and every lie of the enemy that tells him he cannot be free. We declare that *"whom the Son sets free is free indeed"* (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom in the name of Jesus!

Lord, renew his mind by the washing of Your Word. Let Your truth penetrate every thought, every desire, and every area of his life. *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2). Give him wisdom to discern Your voice above the noise of the world and the flesh. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fruit of self-control, which is a gift from You (Galatians 5:22-23). Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds in his heart that may have contributed to these struggles—whether it be loneliness, rejection, or unmet longings. Replace those voids with the fullness of Your love and purpose for his life.

We also pray for deliverance, Lord. You are the God who sets captives free, and we declare that this brother is no longer a slave to sin but a son of God, called to live in the freedom of righteousness. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Show him the way of escape in every moment of temptation, and give him the strength to take it. Let him run from sin as Joseph did, leaving his garment in the hands of temptation if necessary (Genesis 39:12).

Father, we ask that You would speak to him in ways he cannot ignore. Whether through Your Word, through godly counsel, or through the still, small voice of Your Spirit, make Your will and Your ways unmistakably clear. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness that surpasses every other desire (Matthew 5:6). Surround him with believers who will sharpen him, encourage him, and hold him accountable in love. And Lord, if there are any areas where he has not fully surrendered—any hidden sin, any compromise, any secret indulgence—expose it by Your light and bring it into the open, that it may be dealt with and destroyed by the power of the cross.

We also pray for his future, Lord. If it is Your will, prepare him for a godly spouse—a woman who loves You above all else, who will walk with him in purity and holiness. Let his heart be so captivated by You that no other desire competes with his love for Christ. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33). May his life be a testimony of Your transforming power, a light in the darkness, and a beacon of hope to others who struggle as he has.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let him know, deep in his spirit, that he is not defined by his past or his struggles but by the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Remind him daily that *"there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). May he walk in the confidence of Your love, the power of Your Spirit, and the hope of Your calling.

We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin and death and who lives to intercede for us. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.

Brother, your cry has been heard, and your prayer has been powerful. The road ahead may not always be easy, but it is worth it. Every step you take in obedience to Christ is a step toward the freedom He died to give you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that *"He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it"* (1 Thessalonians 5:24). You are not alone in this battle—Christ is with you, and so are we, standing with you in prayer and encouragement. Press on, for the prize is worth the fight!
