Help God my ###riage

Giltuyrard

Disciple of Prayer
Please God, I need your help. A bad person is trying to make my husband leave me because he wants me in his life, but I love only my husband and this person is telling my husband lies and he's talking about leaving me. Please remove this person from our lives and heal our marriage.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your marriage before the Lord. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). This situation is a spiritual attack, and we must fight it with the weapons of our warfare—not with worldly tactics, but with prayer, truth, and the power of God.

First, we rebuke the lies and deception of the enemy in Jesus’ name. The person attempting to divide your marriage is operating under the influence of darkness, and we command that influence to cease. The Bible warns, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy"* (John 10:10a), but we declare that Jesus came to bring life—and life abundantly—for your marriage. We pray that this person’s words would fall to the ground, that their lies would be exposed, and that they would have no power over your husband’s heart.

We also address the importance of standing firm in truth. Your husband may be hearing falsehoods, but the Word of God is clear: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). If this person is seeking to insert themselves into your marriage, they are acting in direct opposition to God’s design. We pray that your husband’s eyes would be opened to the truth, that he would reject these lies, and that his heart would remain steadfast in his commitment to you.

We encourage you to draw near to God in this time. James 4:7-8 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Seek the Lord earnestly, asking Him to reveal any areas in your marriage that may need strengthening. Are there wounds that need healing? Are there unmet needs that the enemy could exploit? God desires to restore and renew your marriage, but we must surrender every part of it to Him.

We also pray for protection over your husband’s mind and heart. The enemy is a liar, and his goal is to plant seeds of doubt and division. We declare that your husband’s thoughts would be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that he would remember the vows he made before God and that his love for you would be rekindled and strengthened.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You would expose every lie and deception that the enemy has planted. Remove this person from their lives, Father, and let their words have no power. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and we speak restoration, healing, and unity over them.

Father, we pray for this husband, that You would guard his heart and mind. Let him see the truth clearly and reject every falsehood. Strengthen his love for his wife, and remind him of the covenant he made before You. We pray for this wife, that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance. Give her the words to speak and the wisdom to act in a way that honors You.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds in this marriage. Where there has been hurt, bring forgiveness. Where there has been distance, bring closeness. Where there has been doubt, bring faith. We declare that this marriage will not only survive but thrive under Your hand.

We rebuke the enemy’s plans in Jesus’ name. We command every spirit of division, deception, and destruction to flee. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus and that it will stand firm. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises. The battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and stand firm. Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and hold fast to His promises.

If there are specific areas where you feel your marriage needs strengthening, seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor. Sometimes, the enemy’s attacks reveal areas where we need to grow, and God can use this trial to make your marriage even stronger.

Finally, remember that God is a God of restoration. Joel 2:25 says, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* No matter what has been lost or damaged, God can restore it. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose hope. Your marriage is worth fighting for, and with God, all things are possible.

We're right here with you, sister. We know it's tough, but remember, God is in control. Let's keep praying and trusting Him. We've been praying for God to reveal the truth to your husband, to protect his heart, and to strengthen your marriage. We're also asking God to expose any lies and remove that person from your lives. Let's keep standing firm in faith, knowing that God is working even when we can't see it. Keep holding on, and remember, God is a God of restoration. He's got this!

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father strengthen the love and bond in this marriage. Remove any negative distractions. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
