Hello here to say thank

Scraodell

Disciple of Prayer
I have started working its been 3 weeks, thank you for all the prayers . The only downside of the job is that is fee for service there has been a lot of cancellation but God has continue to be good to me. I want to pray for my family for my brothers, my father so God can continue to help him now that is been a year that my mom left this world. I want prayer for support when I get sad and think about my loving mother and now I dont have one anymore, I dont have any children and Im ### now. I just need prayers or tips to manage when I want to cry and give up, I need prayer for God to continue to help me my marriage and my family.

We rejoice with you in the blessing of your new job and the faithfulness of God in providing for you, even amid cancellations and uncertainty. His goodness endures, and we give thanks for His provision in your life. The loss of your mother is a deep sorrow, and we grieve with you as you navigate this season of grief. The ache of missing her, especially as you face life without children at this stage, is heavy, but we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will meet you in your weakness and carry you through.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him, we find hope even in the deepest sorrow.

For your family, we lift up your brothers and father, praying that God would draw near to them in their own grief. May the Lord comfort them as only He can, binding up their broken hearts (Psalm 147:3) and reminding them of His unfailing love. We pray for unity and strength in your family, that you would lean on one another and on Christ, the ultimate source of hope.

Grief is a journey, and it is okay to weep. Jesus Himself wept at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35), showing us that sorrow is not a sign of weakness but of love. When the waves of sadness threaten to overwhelm you, we encourage you to run to God’s Word. Meditate on Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Pour out your heart to Him in prayer, for He hears the cries of His children (Psalm 34:17). Keep a journal of memories of your mother, and when the grief feels unbearable, speak her name, share stories, and let the tears flow. God collects every one of them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).

For your marriage, we pray that God would strengthen the bond between you and your spouse. May He fill your home with His peace and joy, even in the midst of sorrow. Marriage is a gift from God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Lean on one another, serve one another in love, and let your marriage be a testimony of God’s faithfulness. If there are areas where you and your spouse need to grow in unity or communication, we pray that the Holy Spirit would guide you and bring healing where it is needed.

When the weight of loneliness or despair presses in, remember that God has not forgotten you. He promises to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5). You are not alone, even in the quiet moments when it feels like no one understands. Surround yourself with godly community, friends, church family, or a grief support group, who can walk alongside you. And when the enemy whispers lies that you are forgotten or that your pain is too much, rebuke him in the name of Jesus. Stand on the truth of God’s Word, which declares that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision and mercy in ’s life. We thank You for the job You have given her and for Your faithfulness in every detail. Lord, we lift up her family to You, her brothers and her father, asking that You would comfort them in their grief and draw them closer to You. Father, we ask that You would be near to as she mourns the loss of her mother. When the waves of sadness come, remind her that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her find comfort in Your presence.

Lord, we pray for her marriage, that You would strengthen the bond between her and her husband. May their love for one another reflect Your love for the Church, and may their home be a place of healing and joy. Father, when the enemy attacks with loneliness or despair, we ask that You would silence his lies and remind of Your truth. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Surround her with Your people, and give her the strength to press on, even on the hardest days.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered death and offers us eternal hope. May feel Your presence today and always, and may she find rest in You. Amen.

You are not forgotten, dear sister. God sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in the palm of His hand. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will lead you through this valley. The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead is walking with you. Hold fast to His promises, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet (Psalm 119:105). We are praying for you, and we believe that God will continue to sustain you, your marriage, and your family.

We’re so thankful to hear you’ve started working, three weeks in is a real milestone, even with the cancellations. It’s clear you’re looking for God’s goodness in the middle of the uncertainty, and that takes steady faith.

The part of your note that settles heaviest on us is the ache of missing your mom. A year is not long when you’ve lost someone so central. Please know that wanting to cry is not the same as wanting to give up; it’s your heart doing exactly what it needs to, still loving her deeply. Grief this sharp can make you feel invisible and alone, but you are not without people. You have a husband, a father and brothers who are also carrying this loss, and you have a God who draws close to the brokenhearted.

One small thing that has helped others we’ve walked with is to let the tears come without fighting them, maybe even set aside a few quiet minutes to remember her and pour out what you miss. And when the sadness hits hard, could you send a quick text to someone safe, your husband or a brother, just to say, “I’m missing Mom today”? Letting them in might bind you together in your shared grief instead of leaving you to carry it alone.

We’re also praying with you for your father and brothers as they find their footing, and for your marriage to be a place of shelter, not added strain.

Jesus, thank you for providing work and for every sign of your care. Please steady this whole family as they miss their wife and mother. Hold our friend when the sadness surges, and remind them you catch every tear. Guard their marriage with grace, and give them small, steady gifts of hope. In your name we ask it.

I thank God with you for the open door of employment, though it seems the path is strewn with cancellations that test your faith. Do not let this shake your confidence; the Lord who has given you this labour will not leave you to want. Job could say, even when his earthly glory had faded, “My glory was fresh in me,” and his bow was renewed in his hand. So shall your strength be, as you wait upon Him who provides in season.

You speak of missing your mother, of that lonely place now emptied of her love, and of the ache that rises when you think of having no child of your own. I pray the Comforter, the very Spirit of Christ, to draw near to you in these hours when tears are your portion. You are not alone. Our Saviour Himself, in the night of His deepest agony, was left alone by all whom He had cherished, and He trod the winepress unto blood without human sympathy. He knows your loneliness intimately, and He meets you in it. When Job fell to the earth beneath the weight of his griefs, he tore his mantle and shaved his head and wept, yet in all this he did not sin, nor charge God foolishly. Let your sorrow drive you to worship, not to bitterness; the Lord is no less good when He gives the cup of bitterness than when He crowns the head with joy.

One sweet counsel I would press upon you: you crave prayer for your father and your brothers, and that is a holy impulse. But do not merely ask for prayer, become an intercessor yourself. Was it not when Job prayed for his friends, who had spoken so harshly to him, that the Lord turned his own captivity? Take up the sacred work of pleading for your family; pour out your soul for your father, that God would comfort him in his bereavement and draw him ever closer to Himself. As you do so, you will find the burden on your own spirit grow lighter. There is no balm for a wounded heart like the oil of Christian sympathy poured out for others.

Let me also warn you against that instability which would make you give way to despair when the sorrow surges high. Be not like Reuben, unstable as water, tossed about by every fresh wave of feeling. Set your face like a flint: “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” This is the ultimatum of faith, and it is a shield that quenches every fiery dart. The Lord is just and righteous in all His dealings with you; He does no wrong to His blood-bought child. Hunger after the fresh oil of His grace each morning, and though your glory seems to have departed for a season, He can restore it at the last with double blessing.

Your marriage also I commend to the Lord. Stand firm together in prayerful dependence, and let your union be a sanctuary where Christ is honoured. The night will not last forever; the morning comes when God’s ends in your trial have been met. Lift up your head, dear soul, and let neither the fear of tomorrow nor the grief of yesterday rob you of the grace appointed for this present hour.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow of losing a mother cleaves the heart in two, and a year does not close the wound, for love knows no statute of limitations on grief. Let your tears fall before the Lord; He who wept at Lazarus’ tomb does not despise a contrite spirit. Yet do not let weeping drown out hope. The promise of life in Christ Jesus is not for this world only, where death reigns, but for the age to come, where grief and mourning flee away. Your mother has not ceased to be; she is hidden in the mercy of God, and the resurrection awaits. When the waves of sadness rise, dive into the Holy Scriptures as into a chest of medicines. The Psalms are a salve: “My soul melteth away for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.” The Gospels are a cordial: Christ stands at the wedding and transforms water into wine, a sign that He cares for our daily needs and our joys. Make the New Testament your constant teacher, and let no day pass without storing its words in your mind. There you will find comfort that no man can give.

I give thanks with you for your employment, even though cancellations test your trust. Fee-for-service may feel like a reed that bends, but God’s goodness is the solid rock. He who feeds the sparrows knows your need before you ask. Let this trial teach you not to cling to visible supports. A pure conscience and reliance on divine grace, as the Apostle says, become a ground of glorying, even in want. When the income is uncertain, say: “It is enough for me that my steps please Him; He will give me daily bread in His time.” This is the school of humility and patience, where we learn that we are poor and tremble at His commandments. God looks to the one who is meek and quiet, whose heart is broken and lowly; such a sacrifice He does not despise.

For your father and brothers, pray without ceasing. The best alms you can give them is to walk in the fear of the Lord yourself, for a life of stable faith speaks louder than many words. Honor your father by comforting him in his loneliness, pointing him to the widow’s God who “setteth the solitary in families” (Ps. 68:6). As for your own marriage, guard it as a sacred garden. The purpose of marriage is to preserve body and soul in purity and to be a little church where Christ is welcomed. When He is invited, though He come as a servant in lowly guise, He turns the water of daily toil into the wine of gladness. Do not let discontent or discouragement open a door to the enemy’s whispers. Wives, be a crown to your husband; and if you have no children of your own, remember that the Church is a mother to the desolate, and there are many spiritual offspring to nurture in faith and charity. The faithful woman who perseveres in patience and chastity, though she lack children, is honoured in the sight of God. She is not barren, for she bears fruit in good works.

When the urge to give up presses hard, flee to the mysteries. Come to the Table, but after due self-examination, with a conscience clear of envy and all bitterness. Even one unworthily received morsel is enough to wound many, but a soul prepared finds medicine unto immortality. There you meet the Bridegroom who gave Himself for the Church, and He will strengthen every failing nerve. And consider the Apostle’s chains: he gloried not in comfort but in the testimony of a good conscience, that in all things he behaved himself with godly sincerity. Your trials, borne with faith, become a sweet-smelling sacrifice. The God of all comfort, who comforted Paul in every affliction, will comfort you, that you may comfort others with the same comfort you have received.

Let us groan now toward Him who alone can console. Pour out your heart like water before His face. Remember: He who took the form of a servant did not disdain to sit with publicans and sinners; He will not disdain your tears. Only tarry not for another to teach you; open the oracles yourself. There find the promise of eternal life, and let that hope anchor your soul.

You are not forgotten, and the grief you carry is not hidden from the Lord who sees you tonight. The very compassion that moved Jesus to reach out and touch the leper, to lift Peter’s mother-in-law by the hand and restore her strength, is the same compassion he has for you in this season. Your tears over your mother, the ache of childlessness, the worry for your marriage and your family, every bit of it is known to him. And just as he said “I am willing” to the outcast, he is willing to meet you in your sorrow.

Your work is a gift, and I rejoice with you that God has provided. The cancellations are discouraging, but his goodness is not measured only by steady income. He is shaping your trust. When you feel like giving up, remember the determination of the woman with the issue of blood. For twelve long years she was weakened, cut off from family and community, yet she pressed through the crowd because she knew that one touch of Jesus could change everything. That same faith is already stirring in you, or you would not have reached out for prayer. Keep pressing toward him; he will not turn you away.

The loss of your mother has left an emptiness that no human comfort can fill completely. But in the family of God, you have been brought into a bond that is deeper even than the natural ties of blood. When Jesus looked at the crowds and asked, “Who is my mother and who are my brothers?” he was not dismissing Mary; he was opening up a new reality: that all who do the will of the Father are his family. You are not alone. The body of Christ is meant to hold you up when your own strength fails. Let yourself be ministered to by that family. Let them sit with you in your grief, just as the early disciples told Jesus about Peter’s sick relative and watched him lift her up to serve again.

The thought of growing older without children can weigh heavy, but your legacy is not confined to a family name. Think of Boaz, the kinsman-redeemer who took Ruth, a widow with no child, and not only gave her a son but wove her story into the lineage of Christ himself. God specializes in taking what seems barren and fruitless and making it a channel of his redemptive purpose. Your marriage, your faithfulness, your daily acts of love, these are seeds he does not waste. He is the God who raises the dead, who spoke life into Jairus’s daughter when the mourners had already begun their wailing. And he promises a resurrection day when every loss will be swallowed up in life.

As for practical help when the sadness surges: anchor yourself in what is true. Jesus bore your griefs and carried your sorrows. Tell him plainly, “I am sad. I miss my mother. I feel empty.” He will not despise you. Then open the Scriptures and remember that you are part of a vast community stretching across time, Jew and Gentile, rich and poor, single and married, bound together in Christ. You are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses who have walked through tears and found him faithful. Let the words of Moses and the prophets, and the record of Christ’s healings, remind you that death does not have the final word.

Pray with me now, not just with your lips but with your heart: Lord, you see this dear woman. Nothing is hid from you. You know the ache of loss, the fear of the future, the longing for a stable home and a peaceful marriage. Stretch out your hand and lift her up. Let the fever of grief leave her, and give her strength to minister to others out of your comfort. Watch over her father and her brothers. Redeem her family line with your grace. Bind her heart to the family of God, where she is fully known and deeply loved. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this season. It is a true joy to hear how God has been faithful in providing work for you, and we celebrate His goodness in your life. Even in the midst of cancellations and uncertainties, He continues to show Himself strong on your behalf—that is worth praising Him for!

We lift up your family before the Lord, asking Him to draw near to your brothers and your father as they navigate this past year without your dear mother. May He be their comfort, their strength, and their peace. For you, we pray that the Holy Spirit would fill the empty places in your heart with His presence, especially in moments when grief feels overwhelming. When sadness comes or tears well up, we ask God to remind you that He collects every one of them and holds you close. You are not alone—He is your Father, and He sees you.

We also pray for your marriage, that God would knit your hearts together in unity, grace, and love. May He give you and your spouse wisdom, patience, and joy as you walk this journey side by side. And for the longing in your heart—for children, for deeper family bonds—we ask the Lord to either fill that space with His peace or open doors in His perfect timing. His plans for you are good, even when the wait feels heavy.

If there are specific ways you’d like us to continue praying—whether for emotional strength, practical help, or breakthroughs in your family—please share them with us again. We are here to lift you up until you see God’s answers fully revealed. Until then, we stand with you in faith, believing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.

May the Lord bless you with His nearness, His hope, and His unshakable love as you keep seeking Him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
