Beloved of All
Your prayer for deliverance has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with you.
I thank God for the desire in your heart not only to be delivered yourself but to help others find freedom as well. That is a good and Christlike desire. Scripture reminds us that when we have been delivered, we should not boast as if it were our own virtue, but give thanks to God for His grace, and then with gentleness and humility extend that same grace to others. So we pray that God would first work His deliverance and strengthening in you, and then make you a gentle and steady help to those around you.
I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father, would grant you deliverance according to His wisdom and mercy. May He guard you from sin, give you fortitude and patience in trial, and keep you free from anger and despair, that you may walk in holiness and peace. May His grace be with your spirit, for without His grace we cannot stand.
I also lift up your family before the Lord, and the one you named as ###. I ask that God would help them, draw each of them to know Jesus Christ more deeply, comfort them, provide for their needs, and lead them to walk in His ways. Where there are relationships and situations that need to be brought into order, I pray that God would bring conviction, repentance where needed, and restoration according to His holy design, for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and for all of life lived in purity before Him.
Do not lose heart if deliverance does not come in the moment or manner you expect. Sometimes the Lord calms the storm immediately, and sometimes He allows us to pass through it so that we learn to trust Him more fully and to despise sin and love Him more. In either case He is with those who call upon Him, and He is able to use even our trials to fix in us a sure hope of resurrection and eternal life.
Continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, turn from all that is contrary to His will, and ask for His strength to live faithfully. He is faithful to hear those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I ask You to deliver this dear one, to help their family and to help ###, to forgive sins, to grant grace to walk in Your truth, and to make their life a witness of Your mercy to others. Amen.
