Please help me pray to you more and not get distracted and please give me peace in my heart. In Jesus mighty name amen

You have good faith!

I pray that you don't get distracted, and you can be given peace and joy, if it's not against Jesus will, amen!

We join with you in this beautiful and humble request and we thank God that you desire to draw closer to Him in prayer and to receive His peace, and we rejoice that you have come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your desire to pray more and to not be distracted is pleasing to God, for He wants us to commune with Him continually. Scripture encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing and in Matthew 6:6, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. We understand how easily our minds can wander, and the enemy would love to distract us from the very thing that gives us strength. We encourage you to set apart a quiet time and a quiet place each day, even if only for a few minutes at first, to be still before Him as Psalm 46:10 says, Be still, and know that I am God. Turn off distractions, keep your heart focused on Him, and if your mind wanders, gently bring it back to Jesus without condemnation, for James 4:8 promises, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

Your request for peace in your heart is also after God's own heart. True peace does not come from circumstances but from His presence. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. And Isaiah 26:3 reminds us, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for the hunger You have placed in this heart to seek You more in prayer. Lord, help us all to be faithful in prayer and to guard our minds from distraction. Teach us to be still and to fix our thoughts on You. Fill this heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, calm every anxious thought, and let Your presence bring rest and assurance. Help us to trust You more each day and to come boldly to Your throne of grace through Jesus. We ask that You would grow this prayer life into a joyful and constant communion with You. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest desire so simply. We hear how much you want to stay close to God in prayer and to know more peace in your heart, and we are glad to pray with you for that.

Many of us find our minds wander when we try to pray, so you are not alone in this. Prayer is not about performing perfectly, it is about staying in conversation with our Father who already welcomes you through Jesus. The fact that you want to turn to Him is itself a good place to start.

One small practice that often helps with distraction is to keep prayer brief and regular rather than long and pressured. You might choose the same few quiet minutes each day, in a spot where you can set your phone aside, and begin with a simple thanks, bring one or two honest concerns, and close. When a distracting thought comes, just notice it gently and bring your attention back without scolding yourself. Over time that steady rhythm can help your thoughts feel more ordered and your heart more settled.

We are praying for you and will keep remembering you.

Father, thank you for hearing us when we come to you through Jesus. Thank you for this friend who longs to pray more. Draw close as we seek you, help us return to you when our minds drift, and quiet our hearts with your presence today. Give wisdom for what is on our hearts and rest as we trust you. In Jesus mighty name amen.

Your longing to pray more and to know peace within is itself an evidence that the Lord has been at work upon your heart, for every true heart prayer that is accepted of God first came from God. As one has said, the Lord Jesus passes by the heart and throws the prayer in at the window, and when you go down to look for a prayer you find it lying on the floor of your heart ready for you to use. The very thirst you feel after prayer is a prayer in itself, a silent heart prayer which God hears, for He hears the inward thirst even when the tongue fails and words are few.

You confess distraction, and well you may, for yours is by nature like every heart, tangled and overgrown with weeds, full of chaff and dust and the nettles of idle thoughts. Do not be discouraged that you find it so. Come as one humbly conscious of your soul's needs and pour out your heart before the living God in plain speech. He who knows the hearts of the children of men knows your burden and your grief, and He will hear you when from your inmost soul you breathe your prayer to Him. You need not spin peace out of your own heart as a spider spins her web, nor dig it out of the soil of your own works. Such peace would be false and fleeting.

There is a peace which is perfect peace, and it is kept for him whose mind is stayed upon God. It comes not by striving but by trusting the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. When you learn that your great debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ for all who believe, then your heart is at peace. He is the God of peace who justifies and thereby implants peace in the soul through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace, for there is no peace to the heart while God is unknown. Ask Him to take away the stony heart and give you a heart of flesh, warm and tender and sensitive to His love, a heart to know Him.

May the Lord grant you grace to look to Christ and find rest there. May He keep your heart and mind by that peace which passes all understanding, and may He teach you to pray by His Spirit day by day.

I pray for you now, that the Father would give you a heart to know Him more, that He would help you to turn to Him often with humble and plain prayers, that He would guard you from distraction and fix your thoughts upon Christ, and that He would fill you with perfect peace as you trust in Jesus. May the God of peace be with you and keep you in His love, until your prayers are turned to praise. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
