We hear the deep ache and longing in your heart for restoration, and we join you in bringing your husband and your friends before the throne of grace in Jesus' mighty name. We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We want to gently and lovingly address the language of payback and what the enemy owes you, because we want your hope to be anchored firmly in the truth of Scripture. You mentioned the devil owing you 777 fold and a seven fold payback. The Scripture does say, But if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house. Proverbs 6:31 This was part of the law concerning a thief who was caught stealing, and it shows God's heart for justice and restitution. And we also read, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Joel 2:25 This is a beautiful promise that God Himself is our Restorer. The Bible does not teach that the devil pays us back on demand or that we can claim a formula of 777 fold from him. Vengeance and repayment belong to the Lord alone, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Our enemy the devil is a defeated foe who seeks to steal, kill and destroy, as in The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10:10 But it is God who restores, who heals, and who redeems, not the enemy. When we demand a specific multiplied payback, we can unintentionally shift our focus from trusting God's sovereign will to trying to command God according to a formula. We encourage you to release that debt into God's hands and trust Him to do what is right, in His way and in His perfect timing, as we are taught to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We pray for God's will to be done in your marriage, for healing where there is hurt, for reconciliation where there is separation, and for both of you to be drawn closer to Christ. If there has been separation or broken fellowship with friends, we pray for godly restoration where it honors the Lord, and for peace where restoration is not His will. We pray that any relationships in your life would be centered on Christ and built on forgiveness, as we are called to forgive as the Lord forgave us. Above all, we pray that your heart would find rest not in getting back what was lost on your terms, but in knowing that God works all things together for good for those who love Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Even Job, who lost so much, found that Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed, and Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10 That restoration came from the hand of the Lord, not from demanding payment from the enemy.

Your longing for restoration is heard, and it is right to bring every ache and loss before the Lord who is the Restorer of the soul.
There is much pain in feeling that what you love has been stolen from you, and the desire to see it returned is natural. Yet the Scriptures do not teach us to claim a debt from the enemy or to demand a sevenfold payback as though God were bound to a formula. Such language, though often heard, is not the word of reconciliation which God has committed to us. Our hope does not rest in compelling the devil to repay, but in the grace of Him who says, He restores my soul. There is nothing in us which could be pointed out as a claim for restoration, though much might ensure our ruin, but here is our safety, the Lord Jesus has willed to save us and He stands to His purpose.
Think of Peter. He was down, but he was soon up again. His restoration was not brought about by a claim he made upon the enemy, but by two outward means, the crowing of the cock and a look from the Lord. That look severed Peter from the crowd and broke his heart and healed it at once. And the reason that look was effectual was that the Lord Jesus had in private made prevalent intercession for him, for He had said, I have prayed for you. If Jesus, the Beloved of the Father, prays for His people, shall He not win His suit with God. He will win it. He will uplift His own from among the siftings where Satan has thrown them.
This is the true restoration the Gospel holds out. He is the God of Peace and He has, on His part, prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation, to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. We are not sent to find out a way of reconciling you to God, for God Himself has provided it in the blood of the Lamb. Often by dispensations of terror He leads us into ways of grace and frequently that which appears to be our utter destruction ends in our complete restoration according to His grace.
Concerning husband and friends, we know that marriage in the sight of God is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love and choice, wherein the two become one. It is not a mere bond of convenience but a holy union. If it be consistent with His will and wisdom, we may pray that the Lord would bring healing and reconciliation where sin and sorrow have made division, but we must leave the outcome in His faithful hands, seeking first to be restored to Christ Himself. For there will be no true peace in any earthly relationship if the soul is not first at peace with God through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.
So let us pray not for a transactional repayment, but for the gracious restoration which is available now, available at once, through Christ.

God owes nothing to any of us, yet in His grace He gives abundantly through Jesus Christ. Our hope is not in a formula for repayment, but in the mercy and sovereignty of God who works all things for good for those who love Him and who calls us to trust His wisdom rather than to demand what we think we are owed. It is better to ask for His will to be done, for healing, for repentance where needed, and for His provision according to His perfect knowledge.
Concerning your husband, God holds marriage as honorable and pure, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. Marriage itself is not unholy, but it is meant to preserve holiness and to reflect faithfulness. If you are married, continue to pray for your husband, for his salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for his holiness, and for reconciliation where it is possible in a way that honors God. If there has been separation or brokenness, pray that God would work in both of you to pursue peace with all people and holiness, and to live in a manner that pleases Him. Your prayer shows a deep ache for what has been lost and a real desire to see God bring restoration, and that longing is understandable. God does care about your pain and He does promise to be near to the brokenhearted, but it is important to seek His restoration in the way Scripture actually teaches.
The Bible does not teach that we can demand a specific multiplied payback from the enemy, like seven times or seven hundred seventy seven times, as if God owes us a formula. There is a proverb that a thief when caught must repay sevenfold, but that is a principle about justice under the law, not a promise we can claim to force God or the devil to give us back people or things on our terms. God is sovereign and gracious, and He restores according to His wisdom and goodness, not because we declare a number over Him.
Scripture gives us a clearer picture of both marriage and restoration. Jesus taught that marriage from the beginning is two becoming one, a profound unity where two lives become one flesh. That oneness reflects something of God's own nature as one, a compound unity, and it is meant to be a lifelong covenant. At the same time Jesus taught that in the resurrection, when the dead are raised, people will not marry as they do now but will be like the angels in heaven. He was affirming that God has power over death and that our ultimate hope is not just getting back what we had in this life, but eternal life with Him. That means while it is right to pray for healing in relationships, our deepest hope must be in the resurrection and in being with the Lord forever.
True restoration in the Bible is also always connected to repentance and a changed heart. When Jesus welcomed tax collectors and sinners who had been far from God, the sign that something real had happened was not just that they sat near Him, but that their lives were changed, they turned from sin and began to walk in a new way. Sitting with Jesus led to repentance and to a new life.
So I would encourage you to bring your sorrow to God honestly, to ask not for a formula of payback but for His will to be done, for His healing where healing is possible, for His comfort where loss remains, and above all for hearts, yours and those you love, to be drawn closer to Jesus. Pray that if restoration of friendships or marriage is possible in a way that honors God, He would work repentance, forgiveness and newness where needed, and pray that even if what you hope for does not return as you imagine, you would know the deeper restoration of being forgiven and made new through Christ alone.
May the Lord give you peace as you trust Him, lead you to find your hope in Jesus, and shape your life by repentance and faith as you walk with Him.

God is sovereign and gracious, and He restores according to His wisdom and goodness, not because we declare a number over Him.
Scripture gives us a clearer picture of both marriage and restoration. Jesus taught that marriage from the beginning is two becoming one, a profound unity where two lives become one flesh. That oneness reflects something of God's own nature as one, a compound unity, and it is meant to be a lifelong covenant. At the same time Jesus taught that in the resurrection, when the dead are raised, people will not marry as they do now but will be like the angels in heaven. He was affirming that God has power over death and that our ultimate hope is not just getting back what we had in this life, but eternal life with Him. That means while it is right to pray for healing in relationships, our deepest hope must be in the resurrection and in being with the Lord forever.
True restoration in the Bible is also always connected to repentance and a changed heart. When Jesus welcomed tax collectors and sinners who had been far from God, the sign that something real had happened was not just that they sat near Him, but that their lives were changed, they turned from sin and began to walk in a new way. Sitting with Jesus led to repentance and to a new life.
So I would encourage you to bring your sorrow to God honestly, to ask not for a formula of payback but for His will to be done, for His healing where healing is possible, for His comfort where loss remains, and above all for hearts, yours and those you love, to be drawn closer to Jesus. Pray that if restoration of friendships or marriage is possible in a way that honors God, He would work repentance, forgiveness and newness where needed, and pray that even if what you hope for does not return as you imagine, you would know the deeper restoration of being forgiven and made new through Christ alone.
May the Lord give you peace as you trust Him, lead you to find your hope in Jesus, and shape your life by repentance and faith as you walk with Him.
