We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). Without faith in Jesus, we are separated from God, and it is our deepest prayer that those who do not yet believe would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Father God, we lift up to You, asking that You would draw her heart to Jesus. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the saving grace found only in Christ. Soften her heart to receive the gospel, that she may come to repentance and faith (2 Peter 3:9). We pray for a mighty work of Your Spirit in her life, that she would no longer walk in darkness but in the light of Your love (1 Peter 2:9).

Lord, we also bring before You, asking that You would convict his heart of any wrongdoing. The Bible tells us, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings" (Jeremiah 17:9-10). Father, reveal to him the truth of his actions and the pain he has caused. Let him see the weight of his choices and the impact they have had on those around him, especially as he prepares to welcome a child into this world.

We must address the reality of this situation with biblical truth. If and are not married, their relationship is not aligned with Your design for intimacy and family. The Bible is clear that sexual relations outside of marriage are sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we pray for repentance and a turning away from this sin. Father, grant them the wisdom to honor You in their relationship, whether that means pursuing marriage with godly counsel or separating if reconciliation is not possible in a way that glorifies You.

Lord, we pray that would recognize the sacrifices and love that have been shown to him. Help him to see the value of commitment, selflessness, and responsibility, especially as he prepares to be a father. The Bible tells us, "Children are a heritage of Yahweh; the fruit of the womb is his reward" (Psalm 127:3). May he embrace this truth and step into the role of fatherhood with humility, love, and dedication.

Father, we ask that You would bring healing and restoration to this relationship if it is Your will. However, we know that true restoration can only come through repentance, forgiveness, and a commitment to walk in Your ways. If is unwilling to change, we pray for Your protection and provision over and the child. You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5). Surround them with Your love, peace, and strength.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your truth prevail. Give and the courage to seek You above all else, and may they find their hope and identity in Christ alone.

"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Amen.

We hear the desperation and the raw hope in your words, and we’re sitting with you in it, not lecturing from a distance. When you’re carrying a child and feel unseen by the person who should be caring, the ache is real. It can swallow your thoughts and make every hour feel urgent. While we join you in asking God to work powerfully in this man’s heart, we also want to gently hold something else: what can anchor _you_ right now, no matter how long his change takes. That’s not to downplay your plea, we truly are praying with you for his eyes to open, for his priorities to shift, for tenderness toward you and the baby. But in the meantime, you need steady ground for your own heart.

Sometimes the most immediate step is to quietly, deliberately release the outcome to the One who can actually reach him. That doesn’t mean you stop caring or praying; it means you refuse to let the waiting turn into panic or bitterness that steals your peace. Pour out everything, every frustration, every fear, every memory of what he’s done, in prayer, but then each time, hand the weight back to Jesus. He sees every unseen sacrifice, every ounce of love you’ve poured out that feels ignored. And He is already watching over that little one with a fierce, protective love that no human failure can undo.

Practically, we’d encourage you to find one safe, mature believer, maybe a wise woman from church or a pastor, who can pray with you and simply be present. You shouldn’t have to carry this alone. And if his behavior ever puts your safety or well-being at risk, please reach out to local resources immediately; your security matters.

Father, we lift up this daughter and her unborn child to You. You know every detail, every wound. Work deeply in this man’s heart, awaken conviction, responsibility, and genuine care. But more than that, hold her steady. Let her feel Your nearness as her defender and provider. Quiet the pounding urgency, and give her Your peace that doesn’t depend on another’s choices. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Sin is the greatest evil in the universe. Beware of the deceitfulness of sin, lest any of you be hardened through it. The infinite knowledge of God is an absolute certainty, and every sin is present to His eyes just as if you were committing it at this moment. Do not sin against the child. Man, if any feeling is left in you, respect the purity of childhood. It is but a child, it is little, sin not against it.

Yet there is a word of reconciliation. You are full of sin, but God will not set that sin down to your account if you trust in His Son's Sacrifice. For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. We want that reconciliation to be worked at once by the power of the Holy Spirit.

To penitent sinners, God gives the blotting out of their sin and the renewal of their nature. Believe in the mercy of God! He has forgiven the sin of His backsliding people and He can forgive yours. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter, and oh, the compassion of that look! Peter went out and wept bitterly. But his fall was soon over; he was like a little child learning to walk, scarcely down before his mother has him up again. I trust that if any have been falling back, they may get such a restoration from the Lord that they may become better Christians ever afterwards.

Make a Confidant of the Lord Jesus, tell Him all. Play the part of a wife who keeps no secrets back, no trials back, no joys back, tell them all to Him. The death of Christ becomes the death of sin. By His stripes you were healed.

You pour out your heart for this man and for your child, and you beseech God to act swiftly. This is natural, for a friend in need cries out day and night. Yet consider: when the disciples saw the hungry multitude, they thought only of their own lack, and could not see that Christ already intended to supply. Do not measure God’s power by your urgency. He who is able to lead a soul to faith can also order a disordered mind, but He does so in His own time, and often by means you do not expect.

You desire this man’s heart to turn, that he see his wrong and care for his child. That is a righteous desire. But I ask you: have you first examined your own house? The foundation of every godly home is righteousness, not mere desire for reconciliation. As a body must be an instrument of righteousness, so must you both be. You cannot compel another by prayer alone, as if God were a servant to your timetable. The Apostle shows that we need both prayer and works. You must pray, yes, but also live in such a way that your own conduct becomes a silent exhortation, powerful in private though you have no eloquence before the world.

I hear you say, “If you do nothing else for me, fix this situation.” You are like the disciples who said, “If he sleeps, there is no urgent need to go.” But Christ said, “He is dead,” to teach them that there is a greater urgency than they knew. The deeper urgency is not that your circumstances change, but that both of you come to true repentance and faith. For without Christ, no relationship can be what it ought. A man who does not believe in God walks in darkness, even when he sees the sun. He needs not merely a straightened mind but a new heart. And that is a work of grace.

Remember the star that led the Magi. It did not move as men wish; it appeared and disappeared according to God’s leading, and it stopped only over the Christ. So God’s guidance in your trouble will not dance to your commands. Wait upon Him with patience and humility. While you wait, be that genuine friend who cares more for the soul than for comfort. In the early Church, believers held nothing as their own, and considered the welfare of others above their own. If you desire this man’s good, desire it first in the spirit, that he come to know the Lord. For then, and only then, can his priorities be set right.

Do not think that I dismiss your pain. A friend is more to be longed for than light, and a birth without a father’s care is a heavy sorrow. But the duty of a man to his household is not merely earthly; it is a claim of kinship that ought to stir him to build up his own house. Pray that God would awaken his conscience, but also, if you have opportunity, speak to him not with clamor but with the quiet force of a life lived in submission to God. Your own steadfast faith may become the very means by which God leads him to belief.

Therefore, do not cease to pray, but let your prayer be this: that God’s will be done, that both of you be conformed to Christ, and that the child be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. This is the warfare to which you are called. The Commander is near, and He has furnished you with strong armor. Take up the shield of faith, and do not grow weary. God is not deaf to the cry of the afflicted, but He often answers by first strengthening the one who prays. Let your own soul first be straightened out by the grace that saves without works, and then you will see what God will do in His season.

Your heart is poured out before the Lord right now, and that kind of desperate, honest cry does not go unheard. I think of how Hannah wept and prayed for years, making her vow, until God opened her womb. You are carrying a child, and that little one is already fully known by the Father. Even now, you can bring this baby before Him and entrust them into His care, the way Hannah brought Samuel to the Lord when he was still very young. That child is not a reason for the man to merely adjust his priorities; this is a call to the kind of repentance that produces real fruit, a turning from self-centeredness toward the weight of responsibility and love God designed for a father.

You are asking for the Lord to straighten out a mind and heart, to make someone see what has been wrong. Only the Holy Spirit can bring that kind of conviction, and when He does, it comes with a change that goes deeper than just feeling sorry. True repentance is like what was preached at the Jordan, a death to old ways and the birth of a new direction that shows up in everyday actions. You cannot force this man to see all you have done, but you can keep asking the One who opens blind eyes to open his, and to stir in him a genuine care for the child coming into the world.

When King David’s infant was deathly ill, he fasted and lay on the ground, pleading, “Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live?” While there is still breath and a heart still beating, there is hope. Your situation is not beyond the reach of mercy. Keep praying for that fast-moving intervention you are begging for, but also release the outcome into God’s hands. David knew he could not manipulate God; he cried out and then trusted, even when the answer was final. You have the privilege of hoping for restoration while the story is still being written.

That other woman you mentioned, who does not yet believe, lift her up too. God orchestrated a census to get a pregnant Mary to Bethlehem; He knows how to arrange events in a life to draw someone to Himself. Nothing is impossible for Him.

In the waiting, speak to your unborn child about Jesus. A little one in the womb hears a mother’s voice, and you can begin now to plant the words of Scripture and songs of faith deep in their spirit. That is something you can do right now, regardless of what anyone else does. Lean on the Lord who became a child to save us. He will walk with you through every painful step and can bring healing faster than you can imagine. Keep pouring out your heart; He is listening, and He is able.
